Recently Polar has become a dealer for a variety of Commercial and Industrial Supplies. Adding supplies to the long list of services Polar provides has reinforced their goal to be a “One-Stop Shop” for all of our customers needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought the General Components Walrus 5000c coolant heater kit for my Cummins N14 engine back in October, simple to fit this heater works great warming my engine up to around 150c from cold. Its not skipped a beat over the winter, the only issue I've found is the timer loses around 20 minutes a month so you need to be aware of that when setting timings. On the whole I'm more than happy with the product and service I got from Glenn & Tara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first experience in giving a review. This company is far disconnected to understanding what customer service is but tout that they are all about service. First you have to give your credit card before you book in your work. Hardly gives a good feeling as an initial introduction to their services and certainly removes any type of accountability when they get to charge what they like regardless of its validity. The communication from the service department was vague at best and quoted numbers verbally but yet their email quote was anything but close to the same . I would safely say they won’t be in any of my next service needs and will spread the word of my experiences with my peers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a plate tamper from Mike, everything went really smooth so decided to bring our 2 jumping jacks in for tune-ups.
I get an email for the first machine (3 weeks after we dropped them off) with an estimate of $3100 for new engine and various other repairs plus a 2 hour inspection charge of $290. We have 15 small engines and everytime we drop one off for a tune up its 1 hour max of shop time, never 2 hours. After seeing this is cancelled arrive on the second machine.
The shop manager was rude in his email and seemed to not care, on pick up they didn't even fully assemble the first machine and obviously didn't do the tune up that it was dropped off for. We will not be using Polars service department again, I would avoid them and will be letting other contractors know our experience.
