★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not too sure what other duties phone receptionists have, but for the life of me; they never seen to pick up the office phone.....
I spoke with dr.platt and didn't get much of an answer; I was told their clinic would give me a call to referer to me a dermatologist.. the estimated wait time for booking that appointment was 2 weeks... It's been a month now without any response from Dr platts office.......... Whenever I call or leave a voicemail they never respond to my calls..... Or call me back for next steps...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to see Dr. Platt for an initial consultation for a breast reduction. She seemed very irritated and I felt like she couldn't get me out of her office fast enough. I didn't get to ask all of the questions I wanted to ask considering this was my first time ever seeing a surgeon. Perhaps if I was paying her directly and it wasn't through OHIP she might have invested a little more time and care. She may be a great surgeon but her bedside manner was definitely not up to par!!!! My advice to Dr. Platt is to treat ALL of your potential patients with compassion, especially when they are nervous to begin with. I am so disappointed by the treatment I received that I am currently looking for another surgeon!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Dr. Platt was very good. She explained everything in detail with regards to my procedure so that i could make appropriate decisions. She did such a good job on my surgery that there was no post operative pain, and I did not requre any pain meds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a trapeziectomy at the base of my thumb. Very little pain even though I had 3 casts over 8 weeks. The surgery and what to expect afterwards was clearly explained.
Surgery was cancelled twice due to covid but not the doctor's fault. Would recommend Dr. Platt with a given 5 star rating
