M	Mabel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased an item via their instagram and had someone else pick it up. The item I received was not as expected, but by that time the return period had lapsed. Reached out to the store about the issue and they were prompt in their response to find a resolution. I didn't expect much in terms of compensation since the return period was over and they could have easily disregarded my complaint, but was pleasantly surprised with the end result. Excellent customer service. It can be risky making purchases when you're not close to the business to inspect the product in person, but based on my experience, would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

The store is very unorganized and customers are often left asking for direction as to where to go and how the store operates. I went in with some of my clothes hoping to drop it off, however I was swayed away due to new covid protocol. I checked the store website beforehand to make sure I wasn’t missing any info and was surprised to see that the website isn’t updated. Employees were ok so that warrants the remaining two stars however I feel that there should be better guides within the store and an updated website so that customers aren’t deferred from the store. Overall not a good experience
E	E H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly NOT recommend this location. I abided by the COVID protocols washing my clothes 24 hours prior to bringing them in. When I arrived I asked if they took men’s clothing and they were excited about the brands I had (Zara, Jack and Jones etc.) They called me back after looking at my items saying they were slightly damp (24 hour washing rule and these were brand new items I didn’t want to put in the dryer) they wouldn’t take anything now but were very interested once they were dry. I brought them back the next day completely dry and they refused everything saying they didn’t take dress shirts (there was one zara dress shirt). I wouldn’t have come back in if they hadn’t asked me to. Waste of time; sell your clothes elsewhere or donate to a charity. Reply: My issue was not with the “wetness” of my clothes (they were only slightly damp) but more with the issue that the lady at cash told me to come back in because there were items that would be purchased and I did even clarify that with her because I didn’t want to make the trip unnecessarily. I understand the protocol with dampness but did not appreciate the inconsistency with sale clerks and with making the unnecessary extra trip in again to refuse everything (waste of gas and time). This could’ve been prevented by the lady not asking me to come back in.
B	B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in the service here. I have sold here a couple times before. They never offer you much for anything anyway, even designer. I went again to sell some things and the girl taking my items was very rude. There was a few cat hairs on one item (my bad) but instead of being nice and telling me she couldn't go through them she handled the situation very poorly and was pretty embarrassing to me to have her talk the way she did in front of the whole store as many people heard the conversation. Probably better off just donating. Adding because of below reply. There is a respectful way to talk to someone when there is a problem instead of embarrassing them infront of the whole store. Very unprofessional.
K	Katie O'Connor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand it's a consignment shop so the merchandise changes but it felt unclean, unorganized, staff was inattentive (a line up of 5 people at the change rooms and no one to open them). The prices for what I wanted were higher than buying them new across the parking lot at Winners. I'm sure it's great for many, but not my thing.
P	Paden Glancie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Plato’s closet location refused to look at the clothing I brought in because I didn’t have it in a plastic tote bin or plastic reusable bag. Even when I asked about bringing it in a plastic grocery bag that I had in my car they said no because it’s “too similar to paper” and “can’t be sanitized properly”. While I fully understand sanitization, a plastic bag is a plastic bag. Not to mention how concerned are the employees about sanitation when none of them were wearing masks. I drove 25 minutes for them to tell me to go to giant tiger and buy a bag or bin that they would accept. At the end I brought my clothing to a Plato’s location in Milton where they happily purchased my clothing in the same bag this location refused it in.
J	Just Me on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some nice styles more recommended for children and young adults. Great prices, although the quality of some of these items is very questionable. I bought a long sleeve crop (what I thought was crop top), upon further inspection at home realized it was cut off by the previous owner. I don’t recommend trying their “buy counter”. I had brought in a large amount of styles, like leggings and crop tops, as did I follow their guidelines. I was came back to the store to find that all of my items had been rejected and the bin of clothes completely untouched the way I dropped it off. Really disappointed considering my last purchase. At least the customer service was nice and positive.

I sorted through it all, put the good quality clothes in proper bins, made sure the dress clothes were dry cleaned, and laundered everything else. I was hoping to get a good discount as I had a really expensive dress coat, dress shirts (brand new, stylish slim-fitted, etc.), and myriad other valuable items. I thought this would be the best way to quickly get rid of these items, and while I could sell them, it can be a hassle for so many clothes. Even if I had around 30 high-value items, their offer was... 8 dollars. Even the two items that I directly bought from their store a couple months ago were rejected! My friend, who had around 5 items to assess, got 18 dollars. So for me, just the drive out, and the lunch I bought while waiting for the assessment, was more expensive then what I got back! I've bought items there before and I will say that for shopping, they can have some great deals. I get that they want to only buy things that will sell, but from the seller's perspective, this has been a massive waste of time.
