★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting outside on Saturday morning when the gym is supposed to be open at 7:00 am. It’s almost 7:30. Apparently no one is showing up to work today and this is not the first time this has happened here. Unacceptable guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They want your credit card information AND your banking information! That's too much information and We should be able pay month to month at the front desk with a debit card! Not joining since I can't stop payment without a ridiculous fee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great gym, and I think that the staff makes it really stand out, especially the younger staff. They always greet you, are very helpful getting a spot in the perk section and are constantly cleaning and keeping us safe. Your efforts are really appreciated guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it! I was always intimidated by gyms and the people who attend them but this was an incredible experience. Bright and clean facility with friendly staff and easy to understand instructions on the machines. Motivational words all over the place as well :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They keep adding on new requirements to use the gym, so it's hit or miss if my kids are actually able to use the gym. One time they lost his photo so because of their mistake, they wouldn't let him until he came back with a photo ID, and now they require a third parental waiver signature. There are plenty of gyms in Nanaimo that actually know what they're doing, this one can't seem to get their act together

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoy going to the gym here. I make it my spa time with tanning and hydro massage. I love the layout and work out in the 30 minute area doing weights and cardio at intervals. Best gym package I’ve ever had.

I have never been late on a payment but have only been able to use this facility 6 times in over a year and when I asked a "team member" there when I could cancel I was told I had to wait a few more months to get out of a contract??? Today I asked and was told I was month to month and could cancel anytime before the 10th. I also have only been able to use these facilities 6 times because I have been in the hospital almost the entire year. I asked today if I brought in a medical note if I could be reimbursed some money. I was told I could try but she doubted it. I can't believe the lack of understanding, overcharging, employee mannerism and empathy. This place has blown my mind. I absolutely will NEVER RECOMMEND PLANET RIP OFF FITNESS TO ANYONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. My medical condition is fatal and to hear all of this I am overwhelmed with faith in any business and will be looking into the details in the extreme fine print and reading reviews. I see a lot of people have a problem with this business. I will be changing all of my banking and credit info. Thanks for nothing. Have a wonderful day scammers.
