The teachers and entire team are welcoming, accommodating and supportive ,it’s a kid friendly zone and they care deeply about the kids and impacting knowledge into them. We highly recommend Ucmas (philomath)Whitby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter Myraa loves learning Maths with UCMAS. And she is a big fan of Mrs R (Padma). She started her UCMAS journey when she was 5 and today she is 6 years and can remember times table till 7 and can mentally solve complex additions and subtractions, leveraging mental math technique. I truly recommend UCMAS and thank Rajesh and Padma for unlocking Myraa's learning abilities. We surely intend to complete the full course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have three kids who take Abacus classes at UCMAS.
They are 13,12,12 respectively . When I started I was a bit skeptical because the maximum age until when kids should ideally be enrolled for learning Abacus is 13 and my eldest som was already 13. We started with the basic module however after a year they have caught up and currently at an intermediate level. I am happy with the learning outcomes so far. Ms Divya is a great teacher and Rajesh the director is a nice man . Overall I am happy and kids are coping well . I hope learning Abacus will improve their concentration, memorization and deducing (mathematical) abilities to help them prepare for university .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter Vedika is 6 years old. We started the UCMAS journey at her age 5. Now she can able to do grade 2 level adding, subtraction and multiplications. UCMAS is a greatest tool for mental math. We are totally agreed that.
A BIG thank you to Rajesh Rajan (Director - UCMAS Whitby Center) and Mrs. R. you both have made a great different in my daughter’s education.
UCMAS, Whitby is a friendly and safe environment to learn and Teachers are amazing. We’re so glad this center opened in person and can’t wait to watch it grow..........!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would suggest Philomath academy to anyone with 100% confidence that their kids can perform well in mental math. They are keeping the class in a standardized and professional way. Updating about the kids performance on a weekly basis is highly appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my husband both were looking for some Mental math options for kids in Canada and that’s where I found out about this unit. At that time the offering were all online because of Covid restrictions by government. Soon when the things started to open the unit was available for in person classes. I have two kids and both of them started to love the classes as soon as they started UCMAS .The teachers : Padma, Divya and Mithra are the gems here and pay personal attention when you discuss about the challenges kids are facing, and you see the improvement in your kid next week.This was absolutely true for my 6 year old.Thanks to the unit director and the teachers there. I would like to mention I am absolute fan of UCMAS abacus method. I tried kumon before but because it was repetitive my kids got bored easily, talking about UCMAS my both kids would sit for hours to enjoy abacus and do numbers. Thanks to UCMAS at this centre for making a difference in my kids life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Philomath Academy & UCMAS Whitby is a very good space for kids.
My child started learning approx. 5 months back at this center, and I can see a very positive change in her arithmetic and speed of working.
They are very professional, and always keep me posted with the progress and other activities in the class. They are insightful about kids learning path and provide a fun environment for the learning and hence my child loves to go there for her classes.
I would totally recommend this place to anybody who is looking for positive learning space for their kids.
