About The Champions Academy Daycare & OSC
Our normal fee guidelines are as below. If you need to know anything in particular, please call us at: 587-454-5505
Monthly fees are set according to the fee schedule in effect, & the age group being contracted for. Fees remain in effect regardless of absences due to illness or vacation.
Non-payment of fees will result in immediate dismissal from the Academy. The current bank charge will be applied for any NSF or returned cheque plus a $25.00 handling fee.
Subsidy is available for families who meet the criteria. If a family has applied for subsidy & are not yet approved, half of the monthly fee will be charged until approval is obtained. Families will be credited for the following month, as applicable. If the child does not attend for the required number of hours as dictated by the subsidy agreement, families are responsible for the difference in fees.
It is the family’s responsibility to keep their subsidy up to date. If the subsidy expires & families do not renew it on time, families will be responsible for the full, non-subsidized fee. If the subsidy is renewed & backdated, the parent-portion will be credited.
Registration
Upon registration, families are required to submit:
❖ $100 non-refundable deposit in order to secure a space for the child
❖ complete registration package (Completed Child Profile & Copy of Immunization Record or Signed Waiver, Signed Consent Forms (those that are applicable) and Signed Parent Contract and Rate Agreement)
Spaces will not be held by verbal contract, registration fee and cheques must be paid in order for a spot to be held for you and your child.
Withdrawals
Upon withdrawal from The Champions Academy, one month of written notice is required. The Champions Academy will not refund the $100 deposit.
Immediate Withdrawals
The Champions Academy reserves the right for Immediate withdrawal from the Centre under the following circumstances:
- Abuse of any kind against staff or children in the Centre.
- Non-payment of fees. Immediate withdrawal will take place after prior notice is given & efforts to receive payment fail.

I also heard that they bought the business of the Champions daycare and never paid the previous owner her money after she transferred the business to Manju. I asked them about that but they tried to bluff me. How can I trust them with my kids if they professional cons?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been dealing with Daycares for 28 years, as i have custody of my grandson. Manju not only cares for the child, she cares for the wellness of the whole family! I had lost a family member and had to fly to the NWT for the funeral. I lost out on income had extra expenses and she was going to waive the parent contribution for the following month. Although I used his child tax credit to pay these fees, it was a very nice gesture! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manju and her team are great with kids.They put in a lot of effort in making the transition from leaving home easier for the kids (and their parents too!). I totally loved the daily reports issued to parents at end of day giving details of sleep times, meals eaten,diaper changes and sort of play the kids engaged in. With this report parents get a fair idea of how the day went. They clearly love their jobs and it shows very clearly in the way they take care of the kids.
Overall the care the children get in this place is not far off from what they would receive from you as their parent at home and they are highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Champions Academy Daycare in Edmonton has a very dedicated and flexible staff! The daycare is very professionally managed and all the kids I saw were really happy! Although I was there for another reason, but looking at the owners direct involvement in the business, I was impressed! They showed me around! The place was very neat and clean. I really liked how the different rooms were laid-out for the different age group children. I sincerely wish them a great success!

I had them in a previous daycare but they have been here for over 6 months now and get treated the same way I treat my children, with nothing but love and compassion. My daughter comes home talking about her teachers telling me how much she loves them. I highly recommend, it is a place where my children are at at ease and comfortable when I leave them for the long hours during the day. I feel comfortable and it is my children’s home away from home. ❤️
