★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what they're like if you have a Pfaff machine but they're unhelpful and snobby if you don't. I went in once to ask if they did repairs on other brands and they just said "we're Pfaff" and nothing else. Ok... bye then. Then when my partner phoned to ask the same, they said no and ended the call without any advice or referral. Well I won't be going there if I ever do want a new machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contacted this store multiples times to try and source a missing part for my machine. Each time they said they would get back to me and then never did. They told me the manufacturer was closed due to Covid but after contacting a different Pfaff retailer I found out that the manufacturer had reopened and that this store had lied to me about it being "closed until further notice" in order to avoid helping me with my simple problem. If you need help with your Pfaff do not bother going here, instead contact A Great Notion or Castle Sewing Center, they are much friendlier and actually willing to help you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I searched and searched Vancouver for a sewing store where it felt cozy and welcoming. Pfaff on Granville hit the mark. Sabine and crew are friendly and helpful. I bought my Pfaff sewing machine and couldn't be happier. And when I wanted to upgrade - no problem. They took back the machine I had bought a few months earlier and I only had to pay the difference in price to get the fancier machine. And when I had questions about the machine (the different razzle dazzle things it could do) - again, no problem. Sabine hosted me in store for a free lesson and has answered my many emails and phone calls with instructions and helpful tips and tricks. My friends have now bought their sewing machines from Pfaff and are too enjoying the fantastic service and help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called from the Sunshine Coast & Sabine arranged for repairs on a day I would be in the city. I was able to return in the afternoon to pick up my Pfaff 1199 before going to the ferry. I was very happy with the service & the repair. My 41 year old sewing machine is working like the day I bought it (I broke it myself so no reflection on the brand's durability).

Great and reliable service at Pfaff's on Granville. I had an issue with my machine...no questions asked and they gave me a new one. The owner even gave me some durable thread and a box of needles for my hockey gear free of charge. Buy local instead of Amazon!! No regrets! One happy customer left this neighbourhood shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister has been waiting for her sewing machine to be repaired for 2 YEARS!! She has been to the store on more than two occasions to pick up the machine, 'supposedly ready' and still does not have her machine. The latest (last two weeks) is that it has been repaired but doesn't work and they have no idea when it will be repaired. Be aware when taking your machine to this location for electronic repair. If they don't have the ability to repair the machine they should say so! They seldom answer the phone and leaving a message is impossible as the mailbox is always full. Occasionally, they will cal you back. She wants her sewing machine back!
