★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, Helpful staff members that have passion for Pets and animals. Perfect for Hamsters just make sure to provide bigger cages if you plan on getting one do your research online to keep them happy and healthy.
Avoid kids that would treat it like a toy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typically come here for wet food, however lately I noticed there seems to be empty shelves quite often. Believe it is due to the global supply chain issue...
That said, there is also a disconnect with what staff tell their customers. I had a coupon which had expired but was told by the cashier that they could override it and honour it the next time. Lo and behold...they couldn't and the next clerk I spoke to turned me away.
Would be nice if they had consistent policies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the longest serving pet stores in the region. It's located in a small strip mall along with a dollar store and the golf town. Across the street is Michael's craft store and Tim horton's. There's also a sun given foods grocery store in the same parking lot. That's actually the most challenging part of attending this store is the parking which can be quite busy. Otherwise the store is great because it's so large and serves all types of pets from dogs and cats to small mammals, fish and reptiles as well. Of course they have food for all these types of animals which is great because we have a snake and are always looking for a local supplier. The store is always clean and not too busy period they have grooming services as well as dog training services. There is a had adoption centre at the front of the store. There seems to be enough staff that work here to provide a good customer experience overall. Value for money is what you would expect at a pet store and overall the experience is excellent. Definitely will come again.

HOWEVER, you should not take the workers advice for anything related to pets! They give horrible advice they were trained to say probably five minutes before their shift just to sell items that are horrible for your pets. Those items give them a horrible living condition!
Do not buy those tiny trail hamster cages because those are absolute torture for them, do not buy the small cages for the birds because that’s absolute torture for them, and do not buy the small fish tanks for the fishes because that’s absolutely torture for them too.
Do your own research and don’t listen to what they say because they don’t know what they’re talking about, they just want to sell you stuff. Do your own research and find out what your pet needs to give them a good living condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is nice. But the pet living condition is terrible. I saw these Betta fishes, very unhealthy, please look carefully to their skin….I found one passed and some were on the way to…….I told a staff this thing and he said he will leave a note to someone in charge of. I’m not sure will this help but I hope so.
I don’t know how to do so post this photos here. And I will try to find a good way to appeal this matter.
