D	David Chivers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT use thier secured MasterCard!!! When you close the account, it takes 30-45 days to get your security deposit back! It's been 42 days and counting, still no check for my deposit! Got a letter over a week ago claiming the check was issued on July 19, the same date as this letter. Seems funny I got the letter stating a check was issued just fine, but still haven't received my check! Stay away from people's trust, there are better options for a secured MasterCard!

Someone picked the phone up and the first statement was "How can I help you?" with a tone that I do not hear from customer services. Normally people introduce the company and himself/herself and ask any question afterwards. After two questions, I hanged up as the guy on the other hand sounded like that he was doing favor by answering me. I asked if there was any branch in Toronto? The reply was blunt 'No'. Second question was about office in B.C and reply was 'No'. I asked if it was closed for COVID or there was no physical office. I had to hang up. I will invest my money somewhere else. If this is the service before me investing my money, what I should expect afterwards. Sorry to say but very bad service. I will leave the same feedback on other sites for others to know my experience. Thanks Khalid

While I can talk only about my experience about the e-savings accounts, my experience with the customer service has been nothing but good. They are an e-Bank, therefore there is to be expected that they do not have brick and mortar offices everywhere. They offer decent interest rates, which major banks don't. Everything has its cost and expectations should be in line with that.

I was given this card as a gift and the company stole more than 90% of the balance during Covid to some international company. #1 we could not possibly travel during Covid. #2 They are ignorantly requesting I find the purchaser of the gift card as a way to avoid correcting the wrong. #3 The level of customer service is repellent. #4. nobody should every have to prove a gift, that is shallow. MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE, NEVER PURCHASE A CREDIT CARD AS A GIFT CARD FOR ANYONE. THEY ONLY END UP IN TIME-COSUMING DISPUTES. THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE MADE UP TO STEAL MONEY FROM INNOCENT HARD WORKING PEOPLE. SHAME ON YOU JOKER MASTERCARD FOR STEALING MONEY THROUGH GIFT CARDS AT A TIME LIKE THIS. TO HAVE SUCH A WORD AS TRUST IN YOUR NAME IS DECEPTIVE.

J	Julia Vaz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "The Perfect Scam" Buyer beware!! This company is involved with the perfect gift gift cards. Thousands of people have been scammed by them. I received one as a gift and while it was in my possession (unopened) it was used in a different province. I called the company and they said they would send a new one in 10 days. A month later the company said they had no record of me speaking to someone and no new card was being sent. Um.. what? It seems maybe their employees are involved. We put in a new investigation and sent them all proof of card and receipt. Still giving me run around with no refund. Let's all start a class action lawsuit against them and get our money back plus the stress of what they put us through to try and get our money. Do not buy these cards!!!
M	M Cartwright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the company that sells the "Happy to say thanks" gift cards. The gift cards themselves rarely work. I recently tried to use one of their Staples ones in person at Staples. It was declined, and then when I called in to their customer service, their recommendation was to use it online. However, most online merchants don't allow you to do multiple transactions, so if you want to spend more than the gift card's value, you cant. If you have a $50 gift card, you basically have to buy something for exactly $50 so that it works and so that you can redeem the full value. The customer service agents response was that I should try to call in and see if they can do my transaction over the phone. Are you kidding me? Do any companies actually offer over-the-phone commerce anymore? When I told customer service that it seemed fraudulent to sell a Staples gift card that isn't going to work at Staples, he described a lengthy process to get a refund. Basically, this company's business model seems to me that they take your money in exchange for a gift card, and then make it so hard for you to redeem your gift card or get your money back that they just end up pocketing the money. DONT BUY THESE GIFT CARDS!!!
