★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful service with little to no accountability. Failed to honour price that I had booked and reserved online over a week before my rental. They pile on hidden charges and fees at the time of pickup that are not disclose on the original reservation. Worst rental experience I've ever dealt with and there was certainly no urgency to help me rectify the large discrepancy in price.
My advice, avoid renting from Penske in the lower mainland!

Sooo much better than the usual go to's like Uhaul or Budget. Will always use Penske going forward. Very friendly and helpful people from the start, right up till the final drop off....very happy and satisfied! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably should have waited until the bill came to rate... WAAAAY off quote with a bunch of extra charges they hadn't mentioned. Plus, despite filling the tank till it was almost overflowing wasn't enough and we were charged THIRTY DOLLARS for fuel that we used in less than 1/2 a block. Definitely will. NOT be using again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found my most recent experience with Penske to be a very positive one!
Right from the time I called in the rental center, their representative Simon was very polite, professional and helpful with my questions and did a great job suggesting the right equipment I needed for my job.
This particular job took place over the weekend, which Penske was able to provide. They had a decent sized, gated yard in the Port Kells area that was open. Props to one of the guys there (I didn't catch his name) that looked like Adam Sandler and helped me out.
The equipment itself isn't brand spanking new, but it well maintained. I had no issues with my move.
There is PLENTY of parking in and around the yard to leave your own vehicle while you rent out Penske's equipment.
Returning the vehicle was also very easy. I just came back at my scheduled check out time, their employees took the keys and did a quick walk-through of the vehicle.
When I got my invoice, the billing was accurate with what Simon said would be on the bill and there were no hidden charges. Overall a great experience. I found Penske to be MUCH, MUCH better than U-Haul. Better equipment, more professional employees and better overall value for your hard earned dollar.

Because they dont provide you bunk heater and even they cant let you idle the truck
It’s impossible to get sleep in -30deg
And i give a call to them and they said sorry its our policy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer service, had to wait 30+ minutes for someone to be at the rental desk.
Cube van not full of fuel when picked up. I gassed the unit up befor returning, but was still charged for fuel at $3 a liter. If they filled up the tanks, it wouldn't be up the the renter to guess how much they used.
I will never use them again, so many other good options.
