K	Katie W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will attest to another reviewers comments. The customer service here is terrible. I came in prepared to spend whatever it cost to refresh my work clothes wardrobe. I had some specific items in mind and approached a sales associate to ask if she could help me find them. Her response? "Honestly, I don't know." I proceeded to the associate at the register to see if she could look up the item in the computer. She checked and said "Nope. We don't have them." I browsed around a few more minutes and found an entire rack of the item they "didn't have" which confirmed my suspicion that she never actually checked. I returned to the register to pay for my item but at this point, she was too busy chatting with a friend who had stopped by to visit and ignored me. I left without making my purchase. Terrible customer service. Does the manager even know what's going on in her store?

They where rude with my Husband too and he's not disabled. Staff is not helpful. I wanted to buy stuff but there really nasty to the customers and once they know your really too pay there sweet as pie. I hate nasty people and fake people who only pays you attention because they have too ring in your purchase but if your buying to much they complain about it too. No thanks too the Newmarket store. The Barrie and Woodbridge stores. all staff are super friendly and helpful. The Barrie and woodbridge locations are awesome stores. Avoid the Newmarket location.

I do most of my shopping online because a) I don't drive and b) usually my sizes are hard to find in store, but when I do go in, they're so helpful and amazing. Everyone is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Absolutely my favourite store.

I have never seen them be rude to anyone. Especially since we have been dealing with Covid, they are doing extra cleaning, asking questions and going beyond help for returns. Thank you girls at Penningtons! A+++

Clerk not busy, told her what I was looking for and she motioned to a table with "we can order your size if it's not there...". That's as helpful as it got. No help the rest of my time, so decided on two pair of skorts which I had to find myself & no help with change rooms, etc. I came in looking for a number of new pieces, but with the lack of care or service, I put the other pieces back, and only purchased the two skorts. Waiting at checkout - same inattentive clerk - now chatting with friend returning items & continued chatting/visiting after transaction was done, while I waited patiently for her school teacher friend to leave. I have never experienced this from Pennington's & will likely not return if this is how the staff are now.?
L	Lynn Lubitz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always have a good experience at the Newmarket Store. All the sales associates are quite friendly and helpful. A special nod goes to Jenna though, who I look forward to seeing every time I go in. She seems to go that extra mile! Love this store!
