His passion is in windows and doors installation for QC and Ottawa ON with an impressive track record of doing this for over 34 years. Perfect fit for Pella’s high-quality product.
When he is done working on your home, he continues with his hobbies from working on his car and having a nice cigar on the weekends.
His son Carlos Zopeni Pitts recently joined the team, his goal is to continue the family business and learn as much as he can form his dad.
Outside of work his passions includes dirt biking, working on his car, and enjoying a good cigar and rum on the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time we went, all staff was at the home and garden show. One employee was in the store and didn’t know much. When I’m going in a specialized store, I’m not looking for opinions/guesses (should work, about that big, etc) Especially, when I’m looking to buy ten of thousands dollars of windows/doors. We were offered gratuity tickets to the home and garden show. We didn’t care. Second time was this weekend. The same employee and another « expert » that didn’t have the professionalism to come out of the lunch room because he was having his sandwich at 1:15pm. We are not going to give you our business Pella and you can certainly be sure we are not going to recommend your business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Star go to Collin (Sales) and installation crews. Yes "Crews" because product was installed defective.
We purchased a very expensive window about eight months ago. Because of whatever reason, it wasn't installed until February. And it was defective. Had to reach out to "project manager" who had a very hard time scheduling a fix.
Finally in April, another installer came to replace defective part. He also mentioned he would need to replace parts that we hadn't ordered (wrong color blinds knob). It is now almost June, and still no news on when the final product will be fully and correctly delivered.
I asked for compensation for shortcomings with project manager to have someone look at our front door handle, a Pella product, that broke twice in 10/12 years, and he wanted to charge me an extra $2000.
At this point we have not been offered any compensation, and I think Pella believes this project is done.
There has been no after sale support while dealing with Pella.
I am going email hunting again to get this resolved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing but good things to say about our experience with Pella Ottawa. Our sales contact Reid was very knowledge about his products, gave us great advice and followed up promptly. Installer Francois and his partner were great too. Worked very efficiently, kept things clean over a two-day installation and everything looks great. When there was a tiny problem with a missing lock, the issue was dealt with promptly and agreeably. Will be using them again, the next time we have new windows and doors needed.

I’d like to thank Collin Koorzen for the great sales advice for the many options and excellent customer service throughout the process including showing up on the day of the installation. Also thanks to the installation crew (Francois Pitts) and staff at the Ottawa showroom last Fall. The original character of the wood trim was preserved which is amazing. We’re very happy with the quality, function and warmth of the new door. Great job!
