I'm usually too lazy to post reviews on restaurants. But sometimes when the food is so dissatisfying, you need to speak out! So here goes - Heartbroken and disappointed! Sunday Chinese takeout is something we look forward to and do very often! Their menu came in with our flyers a week back. It looked so impressive with the extensive variety. I couldn't wait to order. But the taste and quality left us wanting so much more! The Emperor's chicken was bland and the Chicken pieces were very few and small. The Chili chicken Dry was way too salty! We had ordered the 'Hot' version of it. So they sprinkled a powder of sorts, which was more salty than hot. And the BBQ wings just looked plain sad! The excitement of discovering a new Chinese takeout dashed! Guess it's back to our trusted 'Not Just Noodles' and 'Dumping Queen' on Yonge street.

.............One of my oddest Canadian culinary experiences....................... Order $40 worth of food bring it home to find we are 1 spring roll short call them problem fixed free spring roll with next order.... 5 minutes (mid meal) interrupted call from them too berate us and say we shan't be receiving said free spring roll. In the call we are informed we weren't good enough customers to receive a spring roll. This got me thinking where else are they cutting corners to save money buyers beware a spring roll costs 2 dollars each........................................

ordered Beef Lo Mein and got shrimp instead. Also the prices are very high considering the quality of food. 10 dollars for 6 chicken balls? Will consider other places next time!

I ordered 4 dishes from the restaurant, one being their sesame shrimp. Imagine my amazement and horror when it came to discover,it was nothing more that a set of batter with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on the top Where was the shrimp you asked, believe that was also my question I would never ever order anything from them nor would I be recommending them to either m yfriend or family. I did call the restaurant and tried lodging a complaint and I was offered some free wings on my next order as if I would be stupid to order any thing from this restaurant ever again. The response to my earlier review suggest me giving this restaurant another try but in all good conscience I could never do this. Also giving what was being offered could in no way compensate me for what I paid for those horrible shrimp.

I have never reviewed a restaurant like this before, but this was just ridiculous. I ordered a combo and expected it to be like other combos you get at other Chinese restaurants with full plates for roughly the same price. However, it was less than what you would get if you ordered from the mall. There were about 4 pieces of beef in the beef and broccoli and it cost 18.60 for the meal, plus tip and delivery. So I spent $25 for a meal that I could get at the mall with much larger portions for $9-12. I expected it to be less than full plates given the lower price, but it wasn't even close. They should specify how small the plating is, but then no one would get it. Not worth the money at all unfortunately, and I was hoping this would be a place I could order from.

My friend and I are visiting Toronto and decided to try Peking Express. Really happy with the taste and how fast they were for delivery. The only issues we had were, there was no seafood cocktail sauce and the spring rolls were extremely cold. Other than that it was good!

Where do i start? Been coming here since 1998 as a little kid! Nothing has changed the food still taste amazing! Charles oh my good friend Charles, that man is just the best owner i have had to pleasure of giving my devout business to. He is always pleasant and eager to help with any issues that have occurred with my orders in the past, which has been few to none. My go to order is basic but always amazing, Chicken fried rice, Chili Shrimp, Bbq Chicken Wings and Garlic Broccoli! Please do not hesitate to give this classic authentic Chinese restaurant a try, you will NOT be disappointed. Cheers Charles!
