Nice quiet place. Campsites are a bit small but right on the water so great views. Wonderful helpful people who run the place. No flush toilets or shower house. We had power and water. There is a sani dump available. They have cabins for rent as well.

Beautiful spot, quiet & calm lake, neat and tidy cabins and 2 of the nicest people you’ve ever met as the hosts, thanks Rod and Karen!

Our review is mixed. The resort and lake was beautiful. We found the cabins dirty. Not the bedding. It was clean and well made. But the logs in the cabins were dirty and there were lots of cobwebs. Definatley not what you expect for the price. They say full stocked kitchen. But there was lots missing. If you can get by with a frying pan, a pot, and flipper you're good to go. We found it very expensive for what we got. Make sure you take big spray. Mosquitos dinosaur sized! Over all we had a good time.

The owners at Peaceful Cove are super nice folks. Very helpful and really friendly. They even drove ahead of us to show where the access was and then down the backroad to a nearby lake to go fishing in as we didn't catch anything in Lac Des Roches right beside this place. So appreciated! This place is very clean and in a pretty spot on the lake. Depending on what you're looking for you will have a different opinion of Peaceful Cove Resort. We stayed with our 31 foot trailer beside the boat launch during the middle of the week just before the July 1st long weekend and had the campground to ourselves the entire time. This isn't a great campground if you have small kids as there isn't much of a play area or place for them to ride their bikes. If you're purely into fishing or have an event, then it's a perfect spot. They even rent out their home to large groups. Lots of docks to tie up your boat and the boat launch is good. There are no shower or bathroom facilities for the campers. The sani dump on site is very good and well maintained. f you're looking to rent a cabin and sit on the deck to enjoy the view then this is a great spot, for some of the cabins only. The ones closest to the lake are the best for this. The cabins looked really nice, we peeked in some of the windows. The close proximity to Highway 24 might be an issue if you're in a tent trailer or like to sleep with your windows open. Large trucks are out early in the morning and can be noisy. Fishing wasn't great for me but there are plenty of them out there. Bring bug juice as the biting gnats and mosquitos are abundant at night. The loons on this lake are very friendly and will feed on the abundant minnows right in front of the campsite. They didn't seem to mind coming close to my boat, calling and displaying. Overall a nice place but not completely our style.

Cabins felt dirty and mostly unkempt. Taps in the kitchen sink were worn out and wouldn't properly turn off. Lots of garbage and empties tossed into the surrounding bushes. BBQ was very dirty. Deck had stairs that were in terrible shape. Beyond that, everything for our planned trip was going decent, as we had been quoted a price before we arrive for our stay by the male co-owner days prior, yet when it was time to pack up, pay and leave at the end of the stay, the lady co-owner (who was available at the time) upped the price on us from what the male had quoted us. Deceptive and dishonest, untrustworthy. Take your money somewhere else folks, or at the very least, get a signed copy of what they agreed to for the cost of your cabin/rv spot/slip/etc. Edit: unless there are 2 Peaceful Cove Resorts on lac des roche, yes I have the right resort. Perhaps you need fresh eyes in your management practices.

Rustic cabins, friendly management. Good boat launch and docking. Several trailer sites, which fill up and create a "busy" feel for those in cabins.

I just spent 10 dayside June at cabin 4. This was my first time at at Peaceful Cove. The real log cabin was extremely clean and fully equipped with all kitchen needs. Bed was very comfortable and the full bathroom was a real bonus. Large deck with table and full-size barbecue. Shared dock with one other cabin. I have to say how refreshing it was to stay at a place that just has friendly reminders about things rather than a list of hard line rules posted on the the cabin wall. There aren’t any don’t do this and don’t do that signs posted anywhere and that makes for a real enjoyable adult experience. I think guests tend to be more responsible when treated with respect. I have stayed at many resorts over the last 30 years in the 100 mile and Kamloops areas and can honestly say this has been on of my best experiences. It has a great vibe to it. Thanks Peaceful Cove for the great memories. Looking forward to my next visit. Dean K

Beautiful and peaceful spot. Park your RV a few steps away from the shoreline and enjoy a pristine lake. Took a few attempts to find the Rainbow Trout but we finally figured it out. Karen and Rod are a pleasure to deal with. This has become a go to spot for us and we'll keep coming back!
