One of the best kept parks around, but the flooding this year turned it into septic water side living. The staff had no plans but to let it figure it self out. Offered 0 discounts or compensation for living in septic water over your knees for 3 days

What to say? There are many good things about this Park, however we did not have a good stay. It is an older Park with over 200 sites, about 150 of which are occupied full-time. For the most part, the Sites are a bit tight and crowded with little to no space between Sites. At $79.85 per night, including taxes, this is the most expensive Park that we have ever stayed in and we still just had 30 Amp power. Oh well, it was in the area that we needed to be in. The Office Staff can be a bit gruff, however the yard/maintenance workers are amazing. Not only are they extremely friendly and talkative but they are on top of anything that requires attention in a flash. The general condition of the Park is excellent and they put effort into seasonal decorations, etc. to add to the atmosphere. So, what went wrong? Well, we are a very Big Rig (45’ motorhome and 30’ Trailer, both of which are 13.5’ high). I make a point of emailing our dimensions to Parks when I request a reservation. They never should have given us a reservation. The Sites are advertised as being 66’ X 28’, however I question the accuracy of the measurements. Regardless, both sides of the Sites have mature Spruce Trees which encroach and greatly reduce the usable width of the Site. Also, only the graveled centre of the Site is meant to be parked on, however we had to split our Rig and do our best to get it onto the Site. Of course, it had to pour rain and our stabilizer legs began to sink. On three occasions we had to lift the legs, fill the holes with rocks, etc. and then re-level the Rig. We even had one of the legs that was well onto the gravel break through and sink. Given our length a lot of back and forth was required both to get into and out of the Site, which of course cut up the grass. This, coupled with the holes from the stabilizer legs, left quite a mess. At the end of the stay I doubt that anyone was happy. We had to put in literally hours of work to get onto and off of the Site plus deal with the sinking issues. The Park, in particular the maintenance crew, would have had to spend a lot of time and effort to restore the Site. This all would have been avoided if the person in the office making the bookings would have just stopped to think; a 75’ Rig won’t fit on a 66’ lot and, given the trees branches, there isn’t enough width to park the two units side-by-side. Also, we can’t park heavy units off of the gravel. Overall the Park likely deserves a 3.5 – 4 rating, the Yard Staff should get a 5 and whoever made the booking gets a zero.

This is a beautiful destination type rv park. If you like staying in parklike setting with nice large trees around you and beautiful gardens all about , then this is the place for you. There are two seperation washrooms and laundry facilities. They are modern and clean. There is a beautiful outdoor pool , free wifi throughout , a large sitting area in the main building. There is a full time maintenance staff working there that I have seen there for many years now. That tells me that this is a well run park that looks after their employees. The owner loves his gardens and spends much time on them. If you want to stay here , book a spot early , as they are popular. There is also a very large vehicle storage lot here as well. It is generally full year round with trailers , boats and whatever. I highly recommend peace arch rv . Its right off hwy 99 in south surrey about 5 minutes from US border. Very easy connection with hwy 1 and straight drive on 00 to Vancouver. There are beautiful beaches nearby and any shopping you would like to do. Great place.

Great place. Room for my 40' coach. Full hook-up. Well maintained, friendly staff. Short ride to the beach. Wish there was a convenience store on site. . . And better internet, for those of us who need to do a little work online. I'd return for sure

Nice quiet place to overnight in. Lots of β€˜permanent’ residents. Decent free Wi-Fi for a change and you could buy other packages with higher download speeds. Close to businesses and restaurants. No dog park that we found.

Food was GREAT! I had a breakfast sandwich and bought a painting from a local artist there. Amazing art! Wow! Recommend this little place to anyone looking for a wholesome, quality meal with genuine, good hearted staff. Spread the love, even to those who are mask exempt....we still have social distancing, remember.

The park was easy to find and access is good as long as you are not coming North on King George Blvd (you will have to cross two lanes very quickly to get to 40th Ave). Highway 99 north access is very easy as is both directions from 152 Street There is pavement all the way including in the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic except if you opt to not clean up after your dog. You could face immediate eviction. We noticed that pretty much everyone followed that rules. The park is very Big Rig friendly. Our site, K2, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer and cable TV) were to the left rear. The wifi included by the park is a basic β€œTengo” requiring no password. The performance is good enough for e mail and browsing but for anything else, one needs to pay Tengo for upgrades. We did find a few OTA channels. Fixed satellite would probably be difficult because of the trees but the park supplies an excellent cable package at no extra cost. We did not use the two washroom/pay shower and laundry areas but both were very clean (showers and laundry were both reasonably priced). Distancing is very reasonable for an urban park. Most sites had a vegetation barrier. Our site was flat and level with a heavy gravel base that was perfect for drainage. Vancouver area winters are very wet. The park was constantly being groomed. We did note that there are many sites being used by full timers but all were neat and tidy. No matter, the park and sites are well cared for and because of the long-termers, Propane can be delivered to your site. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but a short drive south on 152 Avenue will bring you to all the amenities needed. We stayed here for three months and found the experience pleasant. We paid a monthly rate of $25.00 per night plus electric and feel we received very good value. We will be back when in the area.

This is our second time staying at Peace Arch Rv. It is in a great location for quick access to the highways/borders and shopping. The RV park has a very β€œfamily/home” feel to it and the staff are all super friendly and accommodating when they can be. The facilities/amenities include library/games room, laundry facilities, washrooms/showers, swimming pool, playground, storage and gardens. You always see staff buzzing around working or cleaning something! There are a few full timers that could tide some β€œtidying up/cleaning” but they are tucked away. The only problem we encountered was we kept popping the breaker as the sites are all only 30 AMPS. They do have 50 AMPS but it is in their β€œoverflow” parking only. The storage area is right next to the RV resort and they have a guard dog in there that barks a fair bit however you do not here it inside the RV/trailer depending on where you were located. We tow a 43’ trailer and had no issue getting in or out of our spot! We would stay here again. **Make sure you book ahead as they are very busy!**
