Best RV park in Canada

M	Megan Stefanich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were very friendly and helpful. The tenting site we had was fairly large, very close to many people though. The biggest complaint was cleanliness. There were dirty used tampons clogging the only useable shower in the women’s washroom and the other shower facilities were out of order for the long weekend so we were unable to use them, and staff had not informed us prior to us discovering on our own.
S	Susan Spurr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is 95% permanents. The 5% that seem to be seasonal is located at very back of park. Terrible spots for the sewer hook-up, terrible WIFI and not a very nice drive through the dumpy park to get to the seasonal area. Sites are NOT maintained at all. We arrived for a week to long grass and someone else's dog poop all over our site. In a year of travelling North America, this is one of very few bad campground we've stayed at and we have never seen picnic tables in worse condition. We would definitely NOT stay here again, nor recommend it.
S	Sendy Molines on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a perfect spot for us to camp with the family. There's a very cute pond that my niece absolutely adored, a decent swimming pool plus hot tub. And the staff is very nice. Cleaner than other camp grounds I've been to. We had some rude neighbors who deprived us and other guests of sleep but we complained to the staff and got them to quiet down that night so we could finally sleep. So the staff was very accommodating which we really appreciate. I would go back! Planning on it right now.
H	Harwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for the BC Lung Association bicycle trek to set up as a home base. Washrooms are clean and the cabins were comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend this place for glamping.
g	george peterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Covid gouging at its finest ! All of the rates have gone up even though nothing is being maintained it has become very run down. I understand booking for the pool with Covid but charging $40 for an hour and a half is absolutely asinine, considering that’s more than half the price of your campsite and used to be included. My kids have always loved going there and enjoying the pool and the creek.Now there’s a charge for the pool there is no playground because it hasn’t been maintained and is dangerous and the mini golf is pretty much overgrown all this used to be included. So essentially fees are up amenities are down. Very disappointing. On the upside the staff are really amazing , and it’s close. , let’s not forget about the sewer smell. Let’s hope the owners can work on making it great again
m	mary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a bad experience. Charges 5 dollars more for a "riverside" spot without a sewer hookup. Was informed when I booked there was a wedding scheduled that would be over by 11pm. When checking in , again the wedding was mentioned, that they "would be having fun" until 11, then they would be quiet. The noise continued until after 4 am. My day is ruined, I'm exhausted .
M	Marie Allaby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm giving Laura 5 stars, she was amazing! And very accommodating! The park itself has gone down hill! 40 dollars for 1.5 hours of pool time! Not cool!, the tenting at the creek has been removed and they moved it the the front field which has no water or power! And the washrooms are way too far away if you have little children... speaking of which... the park is gone so one less thing for us to do with the kids.... this used to be such a grate place for us to camp locally! Sadly we will not be returning and have already scheduled a new camp site for next year! Sorry hazelmere but you lost a customer! We will not be returning!
M	Madison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have gone since I was a kid, it’s really a beautiful campground. Perfect for children and adults, as there’s quieter, more secluded areas, but also spots near a playground.
