I called he said it was ready got there to pick it up ended up being $130. Not impressed but whatever, got it home started it up and it crashed down hard! Won’t be back!
R	Robin Searle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had the pleasure of dealing with Peter and Tyler at PD Engines for a few years now, they are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to 'fixing' whatever needs to be done with anything that you give them to fix.Their motto is not to let anything go out until it is working 100% correct.I find that their bills are always reasonable and if you have any questions about any detail they will always fully explain how any bill is put together. Peter takes photos of any repairs that they perform so as to show you what they found and why it needed to be fixed.
B	Bobby Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never dealt with someone who is obviously so angry with life and does not understand what it means to be respectful of others. Peter the owner lied to me directly and said he was going to charge me $70 per hour but when I refused to pay him $80 cash and asked for an invoice and to pay taxes as required by law, he upped the rate to $80 and added some bogus $6.50 in shop charges. The amount is not in question as he admitted he told me $70 (he actually said 60 but than corrected himself to 70 which I agreed to) but when I suggested as the owner he should honour his mistake he swore (angry and f word in tow) that the shop rate was $80 for ATV. I hope he has a better day with the next customer as I won't be visiting him again. It's a shame because my first interaction with his employee Tyler was nothing but positive. I was considering not writing anything but that would only let him get away with his attitude and cheating. The good news is I won't have to visit him again.
R	Reg Masters on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After speaking with Peter over the phone, I delivered an outboard to have the carburetor cleaned and rebuilt. Over the phone price...$225 max. Peters words. When I went to pick up the motor,$580.00! No way. He done the water pump,and spark plugs at $26/each. Wanted to charge $24 for two zip ties. He assured me that that motor was in great shape and would run for 20yrs. Well....I put it on my 12' tiny, it ran for half an hour and seized up. The manufacturer specs the motor to run on 100/1 fuel ratio. Peter figures he's smarter. He tuned the engine on his own 50/1 mix. When I ran it at 100/1 it of course seized! Thanks Peter for wrecking a perfectly good outboard. And charging me $400 to do so. You're a con artist of the worst type.
V	Val V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely feel the need to leave a bad review but sometimes it's just so bad that it is necessary! DO NOT BRING YOUR MACHINERY HERE! THIS GUY IS A TOTAL CROOK! After bringing my generator to him for an oil change it began to leak oil profusely. I took it in for diagnostics and possible repairs only to be told that it was overfilled and the excess had been caught by the bottom panel and slowly leaked out pin holes. The thing is that he didn't seem to remember they were the ones who did the only oil change it's ever had! He charged me an hour and a half of labor to take it apart and diagnose that it was not leaking at all. $144 bill for essentially nothing that was his fault in the first place! He would not take any responsibility and said that it was done before they did the oil change rolls eyes BEWARE
t	tatus tatus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peter, the owner, clearly has anger issues, argumentative and is not happy to be breathing/living. He was advised to call and quote before any repairs are done. He went ahead with repairs without permission and requested an exorbitant amount ($700+). He replaced parts that were perfectly fine to just upcharge. When questioned why he did not call with quote, he started swearing and telling I should read the invoice. He also refused to put his GST number on the invoice. The guy is not to be trusted and will charge for bogus stuff. Do yourself a favor and take your equipment to another shop.
