★ ★ ★ ★ ★ okay, but expensive for what it is (basically just a cut). also spent the whole haircut facing the wall and not the mirror so when I was finally showed the haircut it was almost like a big reveal. Spent the whole time wondering what the lady had done to my hair!! had far better experiences for the same price point

I’ll definitely be coming back here for all of my future haircuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So the haircut was decent - however I have never been rushed out of a barber so quick! I understand that it’s by appointment and that everyone has a 30 minute slot, but never in my life have I had a barber refuse adjustments after the cut. Usually the barber does the cut, i take a look, and give some feedback (take some more off the side, or whatever).
I was told that they had no time for me and that there was another appointment. While there was a gentlemen who didnt have a client the whole time I was there!!
Instead after the cut, I was rushed out. I had to go home and fix it up because there were OBVIOUS imbalances with the haircut. Not my fault that the barber was running “late” and we were out of time.
The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the cut was decent, but for $40.00 I expect better service. I would like to go here again and give it another shot - but there should be a constant feedback loop between the barber and the client. Not a “heres your cut, get out”

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The barber was a really nice guy, but this was honestly the most unflattering haircut I've had in my life. I know what works for my head shape, but he seems to not have listened or understood my instructions at all. Is that why I spent the entire cut facing the wall instead of the mirror? I only got 5 seconds to see my results before being rushed out to pay. I'm embarrassed to go into work today. Never going back to Paulie's Barbershop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For years I've been looking for a great barber in Van, Paulie's got my eye walking out n about. Booking in with Frankie. The whole experience was awesome. Super friendly vibe and very easy going and Frankie has time-and-time again done exceptional cuts. Can't recommend this place enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great shop! Skilled barbers and an excellent vibe. Been coming here for a while. I've had my hair cut by Sarah, Darcy and Jado, and they're all top notch. Paulie is also a super nice dude. 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They're ok. Nothing crazy, they're expensive for cut that is the normal "short sides and long top " cut. I've been here 2 times now the first one was good and the second one not good. I would go back to get it fixed but being an international student I can't really afford it. My search for a good-consistent barber continues!
