We recently bought a home with the Paul Rushforth Team and we couldn’t be happier! Josh was our agent and he was amazing to work with. He was knowledgeable, provided honest advice, and was always available to answer our questions and meet for showings any time we asked for. Josh made the process so easy and we are extremely grateful for him! We will definitely use Josh and the team for buying and selling in the future!

The experience seemed great at first, a was met with a lack of transparency throughout the process (once the contract was signed). I have work with other brokerages and was provided total transparency. I felt This company failed to take my concerns or looked a my best interest seriously and in the end results were damming. I am walking about very disappointed, robbed and betrayed. So much so, I question their real estate practices if this is the norm, which leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

My experience with Paul Rushforth started when I dropped into their Orléans office late in the afternoon. The office staff was about to leave for the day but took the time to give me a contact who would refer me to an agent working the area I live in, all very pleasantly I might add accommodating. I was going to compare this agency with another more local to my district. I met the another broker first and then the agent ( Josh Batley). I had received a welcoming email to introduce me to the Rushforth company and their services almost immediately explaining their approach to the market. The first broker sold himself and his accomplishments to my wife and I. He was professional in his presentation but failed to recognize our important matters and experience in the real estate market. We met Josh the next day as prearranged. He was and remains more laid back but not at the expense of knowledge of the existing marketplace and business experience. He presented the same information but was able to make us understand it and give ourselves to the process. It was easy to make our decision to hire the Rushforth agency because we like the team approach as was explained by the videos they sent us. We weren’t going to be at « the mercy of a one man team » but served by the entire office. Josh was able to give us suggestions on the best approach for us to handle a stressful time of visits . In this covid season we would be very nervous to re-enter our home every night not knowing were we needed to wipe down. The company agreed to orchestrate a cleaner before we got back to our home on the fourth day because we had decided to get away for several days to maximize more liberal visits. When we got back in we were so pleased with the disinfection cleaning that it set a positive mind set to receive offers the next day. Josh handled the offer process so it was easy for us to accept a deal. We had a last minute counteroffer from an agressive firm for more money that we turned down after consultation with Josh because it seemed to have too much pressure attached to it and quite frankly did not have a peaceful feeling that the previous offer had. Could Josh have managed the other broker to keep us in peace, we cannot answer. But we are very pleased with the outcome. If there is anything the company could do better, is to have walked me through the phone app for visit acceptance. We had a last minute request for a visit the morning of offers giving us but minutes to respond with not having a comfortable knowledge of the app in order to respond with fairness and brevity. We will have absolutely no problem in referring anyone to this company. We continue to have dealings with them, and it’s always positive. They are down to earth company and make you feel like anyone of them could become close friends. How refreshing. I was in the new home market in the Ottawa area for 45 years and I find most real estate companies do not know the builder’s strengths or shortcomings which can be their competitors and how that might impact their clientele, but this company most assuredly work for their clients and not their personal interests. My girlfriend and I were referred to Paul Deek as we entered the market for our first home. Let me tell you, we hit the JACKPOT!! Paul was very accommodating and gave us a lot of insight into the process. As first time home buyers, we were nervous, anxious and cautious. Paul was extremely patient with us, and always asked us how we felt. He did not let us compromise on ourselves and really got to know us and what our ideal home would look like. Paul went the extra mile and really kept us feeling positive and that the right home (for us) was out there. He was very knowledgeable about homes, the market, trends and the areas we were looking in. Paul is very friendly, easy-going and approachable. He went ABOVE and beyond. We always felt like he had our best intentions in mind. We know for a fact that Paul is a HUGE reason why we finally got our perfect home.
