★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul Penna is more than a school for me and my family, it is our community. My youngest son is in grade three and my eldest son recently graduated from the school. Now that my oldest son is in middle school I can say that he was not only well prepared academically, but the school also provided him with critical thinking skills and a committment to social justice that are equally important.

Each child understands how important they are as a member of their classroom community and of our downtown Jewish community - and our city and more!

The teaching staff is exceptional - they truly go above and beyond to love our kids up and make sure that they thrive socially and academically. The community is amazingly warm and caring. Even as a mixed race, interfaith family, our kids have only known acceptance. Can't say enough great things about this special place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful place Paul Penna is and has been for our two kids. The teachers are caring and warm while still pushing the kids to be challenged and grow academically. The community is incredibly welcoming. I never thought our family would end up at Jewish day school, but I'm so grateful that we landed here.

Not only does this downtown Jewish day school provide a rich and engaging experience for its students from SK through to Grade 8, but it is a wonderful place to work. The teachers and administrative staff are some of the most caring, collaborative and talented group of people I have worked with. It is awonderful community and I am proud to be a part of it.
