A sincere thank-you to the amazing crew at Paul Davis Halton and Hamilton! In the middle of managing emergency distance teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, I suddenly had to deal with a significant leak that damaged the ceiling and walls of my kitchen. Despite the stresses that come with such an ordeal, the crew at Paul Davis went above and beyond to make this time a little less taxing on my end. They attended the call with impressive PPE and kept me well informed, every step of the way. The techs were extra patient as well. Anthony even took time from his schedule to go over my questions and ensured that I knew how to deal with the multiple fans left to dry everything. Overall, with Jeff coordinating repairs and Ken and Anthony working through the damage, I could not have asked for a more professional, kind, respectful and efficient team. I would absolutely recommend Paul Davis Halton and Hamilton to anyone in need of water damage restoration.

We had a sewer backup in 2018 and we were recommended Paul Davis through our insurance company. Because of the damage we had decided to renovate our entire basement and our project coordinator at Paul Davis gave us a recommendation for a contractor. Since Paul Davis is a very large and well known company we trusted their recommendation and proceeded with the renovations. The renovations were done very poorly. I conveyed my concerns to our Paul Davis project manager that the work was very poor quality and his response was that "it's not his problem". Once the renovations were complete and the payment was due to Paul Davis, our project manager told us that he would come by our house on a certain day to collect our cheque. He failed to show up. This happened on 2 occasions. He had then told us to leave the cheque in the mailbox and he would pick it up (again he failed to show up). We had called and left him multiple voicemails and he failed to return our calls. This went on for nearly 6 months. We had called Paul Davis and spoke to a manager but once again no one came to collect our cheque. Paul Davis was supposed to pay the contractor from the money from the cheque. Since they never came to collect the cheque we had to pay the contractor directly. After nearly 6 months, our project manager finally showed up to our house to collect the cheque. His response to everything was "sorry I had some personal issues going on." In 2019 we had another minor sewer backup and had called Paul Davis. We had a different project manager than last time. The cleanup crew had to remove some of our flooring and they cleaned our basement. 3 months later we received a call for payment and we expressed to Paul Davis that we were not pleased with how our basement was cleaned (there were small pieces of toilet paper left around our furnace and throughout the laundry room).Β Since the damage to our basement was very minimal I expressed that the price they quoted us was too high for the quality of work they had performed. I was told it's high because we called them "after hours". I understand that the price will be higher but what they were charging was ridiculous for the work they had completed.Β On a Friday afternoon the project manager came to have a look at the basement and said he would send back the cleaning crew once we gave them payment. He then lowered the price and told me we had until Monday to pay or else they are sending collections after us. My mother (the owner of the house) had been in the hospital for over 2 months dealing with a life threatening illness. I expressed I would love to get the payment as soon as possible but that I would need to speak with my mother first to make sure she was okay with everything. I also told him that I wanted the laundry room cleaned properly before I gave the payment. The project manager told me that he needed to collect the payment first because our first project manager from 2018 had told him that we were unreliable clients who "refused to pay on our last claim". I was absolutely appalled by the blatant lie that I heard. In 2018 we had our cheque ready the moment the renovations were complete and we had to chase after Paul Davis to collect their payment. I am absolutely disgusted that an employee had lied and had us take the fall for his own personal issues, this is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. After this incident I proceeded to talk to Reese from Paul Davis who has been absolutely wonderful. She has been understanding and pleasant to deal with and took my complaints very seriously. Overall I would never recommend this company to anyone. Aside from Reese, the company did not care about any of our concerns related to poor quality of work and I am truly disgusted with the lack of professionalism and respect by their project managers.

Bruce was great & responded quickly to assess the situation and get the clean up started right away. The Emergency crew of Ken and Zach were friendly, professional, efficient and cleaned everything. They wore foot coverings and were careful. Zach, Anthony & Hudson were wonderful to help remove the broken fridge out of the kitchen for us. I am very happy with Paul Davis services. Thank you guys

Wayne (The project manager) came within an hour of my call to my Insurance Company to assess what needs to be done after our Condo flooded due to the leak of supply line in the washroom. He was very courteous and thorough. His crew Mike and Sarah came with full PPE gear to remove our laminate floor and sound insulator. They were thorough and left many air blowers and few humidifiers for 3 days to ensure everything is dry before removing the equipment. They sanitized everything after the cleanup due to pandemic situation. I will be using Paul Davis to do all repairs as I have confidence in their ability and work ethics.

I have been unfortunate to have had a few emergencies in my home, this was my third ! Each time I have called Paul Davis and each time they have been extremely professional, they explain what is being done and is required and communicate very well ... honestly I would not want to work with anyone else, they put your mind at ease, they know what they are doing. Their crew is excellent ! This is the second time I have had the same mitigation technician, Mark Frazer and he has been fantastic both times, always professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

the team from Paul Davis kept my wife and I up to date on the timing of the repairs which were done with the utmost professionalism . The contractor was exception . The completed the job on time and cleaned up completely. Such a great experience having the team at Paul Davis take care of the damages to our property.

The gold standard for contractors. Extremely professional. Show up on time and stick with the job until it is done. Excellent quality work. Clear communication. Took care of all the details, follow up, etc. We felt we were in good hands all the way. A premium contractor, but overall great value for the work they do. For circumstances such as water damage, mold remediation etc, you can’t afford to not use the best.

I have been referring Paul Davis Restoration for years as an Insurance Broker. This past Friday after suffering a flood in my home, I knew exactly who to call and I'm glad I did. Their crews are professional, courteous, respond quickly and put the homeowner at ease. They have an entire team working with you keeping you informed along the way. Now as a customer I can say I have been referring the best possible firm over these years. The clean up is complete, the repairs will begin shortly. If you ever find yourself in need of a restoration company for your home. This is the company you need to call. The first review is after the emergency services team had responded. Below are my thoughts on how they handled the restoration process. As a broker I have recommended Paul Davis for over 25 years. I can now say without a doubt that you provide the best service anywhere. Rob M. did an incredible job. He kept us well informed, answered all our questions, and carried out an excellent repair. Rob did above and beyond and all my family appreciated his efforts. During the repair our dog became ill and had to be put down, even though Rob had people scheduled, he reworked the schedule so we could deal with this. He is an asset to your company and anyone would be lucky to have him working on their claim. Now when I continue to recommend Paul Davis I can say it as a customer too. Thank you all for such exceptional service from emergency clean up right to the end.β€ž
