Received a box of meat pies as a gift. Have tried the chicken pie and the butter chicken. VERY pleased with both! The chicken pie was CRAMMED with big pieces of chicken, and the butter chicken had a delicious sauce mixture with the chicken. If you like food, THIS is the company for you!

I received a box of Pasture's prepared entrees as a gift from a relative (not from the store), and WOW, what a gift! The food is incredible. So far, I've had the Beef with Bourbon & Caramelized Onions and the Butter Chicken. The beef pie was mostly meat, and it was top quality meat, not stewing beef. The hint of bourbon just perfect, and there were nice large chunks of carrot to offset the richness. The Butter Chicken pie, too, was mostly meat inside, and the sauce had strong notes of cardamom and cumin. The crust on both pies heated through nicely and came out tender and crisp around the edges. Both pies can be cooked from frozen, or you can thaw them first for a shorter baking time. These are the best frozen dinners you'll ever have, believe me!

Received my first box recently. Not only is the packaging wonderful, the products themselves are the best I have had from any other butcher shop! I love the concept of utilizing the whole animal. Highly recommended!!

I have ordered chicken , pork and beef over the last couple of months and everything has been top quality. The pork chops are delicious and the whole chicken that I roasted was succulent. Extremely happy with everything Pasture Butchery is doing. Thanks!

I have been a long time customer to Spencer, the owner of Pasture Butchery. The quality of the meat is exceptional. You truly notice a difference when cooking and eating pasture raised and grass-fed meats. The food doesn't shrink with excess water content, it is flavourful and tender. The meat is well packaged in vacuum sealed bags with tags that indicate the farm where the animal was raised, who butchered/prepared the meat and suggested cooking temperatures. The products Pasture Butchery creates such as their sausages, soups, meat pies and rillette are delicious. The sausages maintain their form and are very flavourful. It is pure meat and spices with no excess filler. I can always depend on the quality of the food and value with what I pay. The values Pasture Butchery upholds is important to me as we consider our environmental impact on the world and our consumerism. It makes a difference knowing that your meat is top quality and from local farmers. That the animals are raised humanely and the is used in its entirety. Lastly, a main reason I have been a local customer for nearly a decade now has largely been due to the incredible customer service. Both Spencer and Robert take time to get to know you, even when it's an online shop. They pay attention to what you purchase and go the extra mile to ensure you are happy. They have been incredibly helpful in the past. They will always answer my questions, provide meal/preparation suggestions and take time to ensure you are happy. My family has had many memorable meals and milestone moments because of the extra mile Spencer and Robert have gone to provide us with those special moments. My family and I have been thankful for Pasture Butchery's products and we will remain loyal customers for many more years to come!
