Was excited to try the chicken, my mom ordered 11 lbs of chicken breasts and thighs. The chicken was slimey and my mom called to complain, we where offered a 5% discount on our next order. Customer service is good, very friendly and pickup from store is great also, but the product left us in a position where we don't want to try it again.

**Edit: Since the posting of this review, I was promptly contacted by customer service to fix the incorrectly processed order and have been given a refund. I have placed orders twice, 1 month apart. Great quality meat, reasonably priced, and easy to reach customer service. Now why 4 stars are taken off. On my first order I was called by customer service 3 times (unprompted) in one day to confirm and guarantee the delivery of my order the next day. I thought it was odd that an order had to be confirmed 3 times but figured it was just really good service. The next day I received another call apologizing the order cannot be delivered due to insufficient stock. They apologized and promised future order will be perfect and I received my order 3 days later. This order was placed for a BBQ I had planned. I have reasonable expectation to receive the order in a timely manner as promised on their website and by the 3 phone calls received. I'm not sure why I would receive these confirmation calls if the order could not be ready on time. On my second order, I ordered 2 weeks in advance, specifying when I'd like to receive the order. I received the order in a timely manner but my order was processed incorrectly. I wanted pork hocks to be cut into pieces (an option that you can choose when you order) but received whole hocks instead. I reached customer on Saturday and I was told I could receive a refund on Monday. On Monday, I was told the best they could do was a 5% discount on future order, by various personnels, over several calls, while promising future order will be perfect. Quite frankly, this order was a second chance. I do not want a future 5% discount code and an empty promise that future order will be perfect. I want something to be done about my current order, now. As far as I'm concerned, this issue has been left unresolved. I'm happy to pay full price. All I want in return is what I ordered and receive my order in a timely manner. It is too bad but I will not be ordering from this place again as I'm sure there are other places that offer the same products and services but are more organized.

I've known of Venerica for a while, but they only supplied restaurants. I was so happy to find out they're now open to the public, with some very sensible pricing/delivery policies. My only hope is that as we open up restrictions, Venerica doesn't go back and shut us, the public, out. I placed my first order on Thursday night late, delivery to Brampton was next day!! And my goodness, the quality. First class quality combined with first class customer service. Yeah, you're in good hands. And my favorite part- exotic cuts of meat.
