★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When ordering I thought the food was a bit pricy. But after tasting it I thought the price was well deserved. I had the jollof rice with grilled chicken and plantain. The chef also took my order and he was very nice. 10/10 would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a great meal with my wife. We ordered for take-out the 1/2 chicken and Jollof rice (nice kick!) and the fried fish rice/veg combo. Both were fantastic and well made.

I stopped by the other day in the afternoon and placed a takeout order for Suya beef, the gentleman was super friendly and informed me that it would take some time to make. I ran a few errands and returned to pick up my order. The food was SO delicious and fresh! I almost went back for dinner!
Fresh/Homecooked food, reasonably priced, courteous staff. I will definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken and the jolof rice were so well seasoned and cooked just right (mind you I'm a picky eater and experienced cook). Even the vegetables were crispy and tasted amazing. I have tried many African restaurants in the city and this is THE best food I've tasted in a while. Plus, the portions were generous and the owner is kind. Count me in as loyal customer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was delicious, great portion sizes, and super friendly owner. We ordered the salmon, soft/grilled chicken, both cooked to perfection and fried and jollof rice. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu, it has that comforting home-cooking vibe.Can't wait to come back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find Wakanda Grill was! Best tasting grilled chicken "big bite" sandwich I can remember. Henry is a considerate, outstanding chef who made the meal taste authentic and home cooked - even the fries were New York class. Don't know how he pulls this off, but probably has something to do with the personalized prep time - it may take more than a few quick minutes, but it's definitely worth it! Can't wait to try the snapper special next time we're in the Junction.
