Passport Health in St. Albert, a tiny little operation relieved my concerns about my upcoming trip to Thailand completely. They knew the vaccinations/medications that were crucial, recommended some that would be for travelers in higher risk environments, and let me know my options of getting the vaccination through them or with my doctor, including cost comparisons. There was no wait time at all and they were warm and welcoming and extremely efficient. I would recommend them to anyone!
J	Jarett Wanihadie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'The visit to the clinic for my testing was fast and scheduled in to accommodate my schedule. When I was \'in a pinch\' to get testing done for school/work, they were able to squeeze me in. Also the staff is amazing. The RN that helped me out (I believe her name was Carmen), was quick, efficient, and proficient in her knowledge of both skill and competence. She had a lovely personal character, and was easy to establish proper healthcare worker-client rapport. She effectively communicated what she was doing, why, what instructions I was to follow, and took the time to ensure I was not going to have any negative reactions following administration. During this time she also told me all about the test and why it was done. I took it a step further (as I am a 3rd year med student to see how much she knows), and she was very up-to-date with her knowledge. I was a bit surprised as Immunology is one of my sub-specialties, just how much she was able to answer (I got into the \'nitty gritty\' questions just for fun). She was able to answer everything (which I can assure you, most RNs wouldn\'t be able to answer). She told me that in her spare time she reads up on everything to stay current, which was pleasantly surprising and reassuring. I would recommend her for any travel vaccinations and especially for any kids (I know a lot of parents struggle with kids and vaccinations).''
A	Adam Zahalan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got there within the 10 minute window of our appointment which we were told on the phone is fine. Very hard to find since they are on the second floor with no signage anywhere. We were sitting in there for 5 minutes until the nurse came out to tell us we missed our appointment and that the cut off time was 15 min. Looked down at my phone and it was 3:15pm. We explained to her that we had been waiting for 5 min but she was rude nonetheless and didn’t seem to care. Even still, we called to reschedule and mentioned what happened. Management called a day later to find out exactly what happened. Apparently the nurse (Megan) claimed we yelled and swore at her. Keep in mind we had our 18 month old son with us. After hearing that we just canceled the appointment and booked somewhere else.

I greatly appreciated that she took the time to read through all of the recommended vaccinations and outlined the positives/negatives of each. And - I didn't even realize I received my jab until she put a band-aid on it!! Highly recommend Passport Health. I have one recommendation, and that is MUCH better store front signage! :) Thank you for all the work you do.
D	Daniela Iacovone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in for our 18 month old and saw Carmen. She was lovely, she made us feel comfortable, offered information as we were headed on two trips. She gave us the info we needed and then some. She told us why we needed things or why we didn't rather than just saying 'you need this'. We felt very informed and confident with the immunizations we got for our son. I would recommend this clinic especially since it was quick to get an appointment time to meet our busy schedule. The only thing I wish they could change is if they could direct bill to insurance. Overall 5/5.
B	Bernard Charles Ehalt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a two step TB test booked. Got the first process done and then on the day between appointments they emailed and cancelled my appointment. Luckily I noticed the email early and was able to rebook at another location (an additional 40minutes away) but I didn't even get a phone call offering to rebook. If I hadn't checked my email the whole process up to that point would have been a waste. I understand cancellations happen but since I was undergoing a time sensitive treatment, better communication would have been expected and appreciated.
