What a joke. Went to party city in Sherwood park after buying part of a costume at the Mayfield common location. Drive 30 minutes to the Sherwood park location because their site says that they have 5 of the costume in stock. Get there and spend 15 minutes walking around looking for the costume before finally finding someone to help and being told by the employee "oh I don't know, our inventory is always wrong, we don't have it." Eventually I found the manager who checked to tell me "no we don't have the costume." When I asked if I could take back part of the costume the manager told me I could only return it for store credit. On their shelves was things like leather shoulder pads or roman chest piece with no pants or robes or anything else to go with it. So, if you wish to get half of a costume with nothing else to match it and show up to a store where the inventory online doesn't reflect what is in store then feel free to waste your time and drive on down to PartyCity Sherwood park!

I had a few questions about your products, I asked a lady danete? I believe her name was. Very unpleasant she spoke to me like I was incompetent, did not answer any of my questions and was very snappy at me. Will not be returning

I just got off the phone with my daughter who went their for a fun trip with the twins and her infant son to get their Halloween costumes. My daughter and her family has been in this party city sooo many times and has always had a positive experiences. Today was not that way unfortunately, she finally found all the costumes and accessories for them and went to the till to ring the items through. As the items are going through and then when she got the total she politely said to the young girl behind the counter that perhaps something had been rung in twice as it was not that much. Well the young lady patronized her (keep in mind the girl was younger then my daughter) and said honey i don't think so... So after paying and getting back to the car, strapping the kids in she checked the receipt and sure enough she was over charged so (approx five minutes had passed) she unbuckled and packed the kids back in the store to show the error. Well she waited in line patiently then when told the (a different cashier) the situation it went from bad to worse.~~ Not only did it take three cashiers and LOOKING AT SECURITY FOOTAGE~! ( i CAN'T EVEN AS HOW DARE THEY!) She finally got her money back but she was treated like a criminal, kids were hungry, baby was in need of a diaper change and all the while my daughter was trying to be polite (whilst they made her feel like she was a criminal and that she was trying to pull some scam) Trying to quiet the kids and explain to the ladies what happened. I AM APPALLED AT THE LACK of customer service skills and first they overcharge (which I get happens right) but then to put you through all that? ? ?? How dare they!!! I hope that the main upper management sees this as this is how you lose customers!! DO BETTER

I ordered some balloons online for my son's birthday (from the party city website). I went to this location to have them inflated. They told me they don't inflate for free unless it's actually bought from their store. Not even online orders. I've had children for 9 years and have always purchased balloons online and gotten them inflated for free when buying from the Party City website. This is the ONLY location I've ever had a problem with. They have horrible customer service skills as well. The man who told me this didn't even ask if I wanted to not inflate them he just proceeded to charge me for the inflation which I told him not to do. I had to be very loud and ask him to remove the charge and give me my balloons back. Yuck.

I ran in there to get a balloon for gender reveal. I had the greatest young lady help me!! She suggested this one particular balloon for the large and also said if I bought 6 other plain ones, They were on a special- DONE!!! THANKYOU soo much for excellent service!!
