Parliament Interiors

I love coming into Parliament. Their furniture and accessories are modern and trendy. The staff is always helpful and clearly have a passion for what they do. I have purchased a few items over the years and have often received compliments about them from visitors to my home. I am excited that they are moving to Main Street where it will be easier to find parking!

This store is a must visit in Vancouver!! I adore this locally owned business for the incredible style profile and carefully curated pieces. The staff are warm, welcoming and are excited to help me when I walk in the door. I have purchased several large pieces of furniture from Parliament but I also love this store for unique gifts for friends and family. Honestly, there are beautiful items at every price point! I hear Parliament is moving to a new location on Main Street and I literally cannot wait to visit.

I always know I can count on Parliament Interiors/Kermodi when I need something unique and special for friends and family. Definitely a Vancouver gem. Shop local and support small businesses!

I usually go to this store when I want to buy a plant as a gift, although they are over priced compared to plant store but I always liked the collection. Bought two plants last December, both died, went in once to ask for recommendations and they told me they wld replant for half the price. So the one that I had for myself was a Juniper which I took to replant and had understood from a proffesional that the one I had wasnt suitable for indoors, even one of the sales ppl of the store told me that thier Junipers were not doing well either. Any ways they took my number and my second choice of plants incase Junipers werent available anymore and told me they will call in a week. I received no calls after cpl of days and went in to check, I realised my order wasnt even registered as the other personnel cld not find anything, they had just taped my request to the planter and just left it aside. their plant guy arrived at the same time and carelessly said they they dont have them anymore and handed me the dead plant. They hadnt touched the planter, not even emptied it, Not even had the courtesy to call me abt it. Wont be going to this store anymore.

Parliament is a great store! I love the mix of modern furniture with vintage pieces. And the plants are showstoppers. I would live in the store if I could!

We bought a dining table in early August and received it mid January with no updates or courtesy calls in between. I would stay away from this company as I found them to be extremely unprofessional. I went looking for a dining table in early August with my girlfriend and we quickly found one that we liked. Looking back, no one offered to help, but this wasn't a deal breaker. We decided to sleep on it and returned the next day to find out the price had gone up a few hundred dollars because of the "supplier and covid". Unfortunate timing, but again being easy going, we decided that it is what it is and didn't complain about the sudden price surge and even opted for the white glove service to make sure we wouldn't have to deal with transportation ourselves. After two months, the moving company brought the furniture and found the table top was broken. They showed us that it hadn't been packaged properly and called the company to notify them of the situation. Parliament Interiors later called us to say that it was the supplier's fault. After this incident, we were basically left in the dark with no updates and had to wait an extra 4 months to receive our order. Every time we called them the ETA changed. If you want to deal with a business that makes promises and does not deliver, you found the right one. The icing on the cake was when we received the bill from the moving company and saw that they charged us twice for shipping. At no point during this whole ordeal did we call and complain or put pressure on the business. We only called when the ETA dates would come and pass. Our expectations were low and we were still let down. No apologies and no effort to do anything for the inconvenience.

I went in with my girlfriend looking for a sectional couch, that needed to be a very specific size/layout. We were lucky enough to meet Craig, who made the selection process so easy and enjoyable. He was able to give amazing advice on getting a reasonably priced, custom fit, sectional couch that would fit our unique floor plan perfectly. From there he helped us through selecting the colour/fabric for the couch. Such a great experience overall and worth a 5/5 review for sure!

I stopped in at Parliament earlier tonight right as they were closing - I had seen a plant through the window I quickly wanted to grab as a gift. The lady was wonderful & helped me get the plant out of the window display (so many shop assistants get so huffy these days if you're a last minute shopper). She didn't rush me and still answered my questions in a very informative way (I also asked about a larger plant for future but will pop in when the plant person is in). I love finding owner-operated small businesses to support, and being new to the neighbourhood I'm very happy to have stumbled upon such a beautiful shop with such wonderful staff. I look forward to visiting again!
