★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a donabe from here online and was super happy with my purchase, so I decided to check this place out when I was in town. Beautiful selection of Japanese pottery as well as furoshiki, incense, and other Japanese gifts and homegoods. The store owners are also very kind with the best Japanese service. Also, the stuff is not cheap but the prices are reasonable for the quality. If you're into Japanese homegoods this is definitely a must!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a treat of a shop! Uniquely made dishes and bowls, cups and pots...beautiful pottery designs...silk kimonos and quaint stationery. So many beautiful and functional things to see... like a shop in Granville Island. For the quality, the prices are reasonable. Worth a visit if you don't like ordinary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Merchandise, establishment, service and prices already covered in other reviews. Adding my 2 cents; I made a mistake making an online order. Staff went out of their way to alert me, when they could have just walked away with my money.
You can't pay for that kind of service, but I hope 5 stars helps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here about twice now, from the outside it looked like a really expensive store. But once inside I found their ceramics sets and other sets to be quite affordable as gifts for my friends. I got one of the cat mugs and was surprised to see that they had 3 different variations of them. The staff was really nice and wrapped up my gift in a box for free as well.
