After reading all the reviews I don’t understand why this company is still running. I have never dealt with such a careless and unorganized company. No one at Paramed answers calls or return calls. I called almost everyday to speak with coordinator left couple of voicemails, didn’t receive a call back after two weeks I was able to speak with the coordinator. Once I involve the LLNN I got a call back. Don’t waste your time leaving voicemails. The management there sucks and lie a lot. THEY SHOULD SHUT DOWN THE COMPANY.

My senior mother gets in home care from this organization. The care workers are generally good, but the management of this company are incompetent and uncaring. They keep scheduling visits outside of our requested time window and refuse to listen when we have a complaint. We have already cut back on the visits and are contemplating getting rid of them altogether. I have no idea why the Government continues to use them.

If I could rate the care workers vs the management separately there would be two different ratings. Care workers are good, though sometimes show up late and some require a lot of direction (lack initiative). Management/coordinators doing the bookings are terrible. New system doesn't allow you to call in and actually talk to an person (only leave a message), frequently they double book the care workers and on occasion (like today) no one shows up and Paramed doesn't call to warn that no one is coming. Extremely frustrating and not at all reliable.

Management doesn’t get back to you when there is an issue. Sad that this is what patients have to go through after paying the government so much money in taxes for healthcare.

The coordinator Nitish is a very helpful person. He has been very easy going, communicates well and is very understanding. Amazing part of the team! I hope he stays.

My PICC line was clogged because the nurse was too busy worrying about her lunch break and coffee order to pay attention to what she was doing. My specialist and doctors/nurses at the hospital told me this shouldn't have happened and a trained professional would have understood the importance of flushing a line after blood is drawn. I spent 2 days at the hospital for a mistake that shouldn't have happened. I missed 2 days of my treatment and had to be given other medications to reverse the damage caused. Very negligent. Also expect a 9pm the night before your Appt, because they have to change it... Even though you booked the Appt a week ago.

The palliative care team did an exceptional job providing home care for my dad during his last year with us. Everyone who came to our home was kind, professional, and understanding. The nurses went above and beyond, and we are so appreciative of all they did for us. Thank you!

I was set up for help with a leg ulcer on the inside of my leg just above my ankle. I had been struggling with this for almost two years. The pain was nauseating sometimes, a 15 on the 1-10 scale. I had a rocky start, an allergic reaction to the first treatment and the alternative presented some painful effects with wound adherence. Layli, a very smart nurse, came to the rescue and used her expertise as a wound specialist. She treated the ulcer with a burn dressing that worked like a charm. All I could do is hug her the next visit and thank her profusely. These nurses are all awesome, kind, smart and compassionate. I started with Amanda who had to deal with me being very stressed and upset. I saw Mina this week and her kindness and humor as well as her care and advice to get off my feet more were heard and appreciated. We are very lucky to have this service in our health care. These nurses are working 12 hour shifts. Think of them during your Mother's Day as they do their job and care like every good mother. God Bless. Cindy Jarvis
