Paragon Competition

I had a set of AST shocks that needed to be rebuilt. I checked out Paragon since they were local and seemed like they were a good race shop to trust with my shocks and do future business with. I dropped off my shocks and picked them up after a few weeks being rebuilt. After the rebuild one shock was leaking Nitrogen and another shock only had 1 inch of travel. I complained about it to the shock tech and he said he would fix it. I dropped off the shocks again and he refilled the nitrogen, which ended up leaking out again after a few days. When I picked up the shocks for the second time I dealt with the owner Joe personally. He made it seem like it was my fault that the shock was leaking after being rebuilt. Told me I should have my own equipment for refilling shocks. I was told by the shock tech that he would have dyno charts for my shocks, but when I spoke to Joe he rudely asked "Why would you need shock dyno charts? You don't race." The issue with the leaking nitrogen and other shock with 1 inch of travel persisted after I picked up the shocks the second time. I contacted Joe via email and all he offered was to have them shipped to AST to see if they can be rebuilt. Then he would give me an estimate to see if it's worth rebuilding or buy new shocks... And this is after I spent $1000 for his shop to fix them. So being fed up with his incompetent and rude service I dealt with AST USA directly and they were very helpful in resolving this matter. I was very disappointed in the level of service from Paragon Competition. I was hoping it would be a shop where I would come back for other parts. Due to this substandard experience I would never spend another nickel here.

Visited Paragon yesterday as I needed a new race helmet for the upcomming season. The guy working there was really helpful (sorry I didn't get your name), made sure everything fit right. Happy to say I got exactly what I wanted and they had it in-stock right then and there. I've been here before, and definitely will be returning in the future!

In the middle of race season, I decided to buy a set of AST 2-way dampers for my 2020 BMW M4. Something was not right with the rears from the factory. I thought maybe this is just normal. Joe learned of this, came to the shop where they were put on, acknowledged that they were in fact not okay, contacted AST in Holland and had them re-engineer and fix the problem (likely for the model at large). Again , during the middle of their busy season , and for a product they did not directly sell to me. Professionalism and service provided here is unparalleled and I guess you could say 'paragon'.

Paragon Competition was able to assist in ordering wheel adapters during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joe was very professional and was able to have the parts I needed delivered very quickly. I highly recommend their services and suggest everyone continue supporting local small businesses!

Paragon has serviced my JRZ dampers, and I've purchased gloves, helmet, and Hans device from them. Very knowledgeable staff, lots of inventory in stock, and quick turn around for damper service.

Been looking to find a local shop and was happy to learn about Paragon. I came in for to test fit and purchase a helmet, the owner Joe was incredibly helpful. Joe even lent me some equipment for an event because we couldn't get it shipped to his store in time - all before I even made my first purchase. Overall I was left incredibly happy with the service I received and won't hesitate to come back.
