Very disappointing tonight. We have been ordering from here exclusively for the last 8 years, and tonight we were sorely disappointed in our pizza. The toppings were barely there and that’s what brought us to Papa John’s to begin with. They are usually plentiful, but tonight was mostly crust and sauce. I think we will be finding a new pizza joint if this happens again. We wondered if there are new owners. If so, they won’t be in business long if this is what they are putting out.

Ordered another pizza and it was excellent. I received a call to follow up on the above order, and was happy to report our most recent pizza was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you request contactless delivery you must answer the door or they will not deliver your pizza even if you have prepaid and will mark it as delivered. On the website is even automatically opts you in to leave the pizza at your door........Never had this issue with dominos. Either leave the pizza at the door or change the description of what "contacless" Delivery means to accurately portray what will/needs to happen upon delivery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coupon Codes mean terrible quality pizza... My fiance and I always order pizza from this location and it's always amazing. Which is why I was super excited when I got a coupon code for 30% off!
On Wednesday April 3rd, 2019 we ordered a large pepperoni with jalapenos. They definitely saved the 30% by barely putting any cheese on it and decreasing the diameter of the pizza by a solid 2"!! I am really disappointed because we've been loyal customers and we finally caught a break with that coupon code.
We aren't ones to be picky but this was far beyond disappointing. It was blatantly obvious they wanted to save the loss of mark-up by eliminating toppings and reducing the size. Wish I had a photo but we were too hungry & busy packing for our trip that we didn't think of posting a review until after.
Any other time we have ordered from the Okotoks location we have had nothing but amazing service and wicked good pizza. Papa John's is our #1 choice for a pizza cheat meal so when we do cheat on our healthy meals we always know it's going to be amazing... sadly this time it wasn't.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had Papa John's Pizza from other locations and it is very good. The Okotokos Papa John's Pizza is Brutal. They sure cheap out on there topping. Stay clear from Papa John's Pizza Okotoks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a screw up with the online ordering (you can't place an online order when the store is closed...even if the order to be delivered when store is open so that was painful) but the employee TOTALLY stepped up and got everything ready in short notice. Not the first time the employees at this location have helped in a jam and are happy to do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family became very sick through the night and through out a 48 hour period before feeling better. Location was given info regarding what happened knows AHS is involved because I told them in a private message. No manager had ever made contact to appolagize for what we went through.
Never again will I eat here. Also pictures of what we ate will be added.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They make a pretty good pizza, but their prices are not longer very competitive. Dominos is outclassing them with their frequent large pizza specials 50% off or $12.99 for a 4-topping. (not that 14" is particularly large)
CPU's regular prices are $16.99 for a large $18.99 for an extra large
Even Pizza Hut has some decent specials these days.
But $15-$16 for two toppings as PapaJohn's special (when you buy two) is just not worth it.
