About Panda Express
Our Honey Walnut Shrimp pairs classic northern Chinese cooking technique with mayonnaise in a nod to Hong Kong's fusion flavors. In Hong Kong, many British sauces have been absorbed into the local cuisine. Here, mayonnaise adds a richness to our honeyed sauce. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I went here, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. This time, it wasn't as good. Not as fresh for sure. They were out of Beijing Beef on this visit too. Graded as a 'meh' on this visit for food. Staff were friendly and positive on this visit too.

I was excited to try Panda Express for the first time but i had to pay for my meal and i didnt even get to taste it. I made a pre order and it said I needed to wait 20min. After the 20min I rushed in to grab my order and they hadn't even started my order, I was told it would be another 15minutes. I didn't have time to wait, that was the reason for the pre order. I was than told that there was nobody at the establishment that was capable of giving me a refund. So I got no food and they kept my money. I'm curious what their standard procedure is for theft cause I would also like to follow that procedure. Beware! If the staff can't complete a basic refund who knows what else they are uncapable of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ol’ standard Chinese food. The selection is great, wish there was a little more variety on the sides however.
Service was nice and the portions were not bad.
When we went mid afternoon, it was quiet and also.
Not a lot of fresh entrees ready. They were low on a few I wanted to try. That was disappointing. It wasn’t super warm/hot either. But the portions were nice and I could barely finish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten Chinese food in Calgary all over the place in 25+ years living here and I can honestly say, this is one of the most delicious Chinese food, if not the most I have eaten. People leaving negative comments calling it the worst definitely have some vendetta against them. They cook fresh items for you, no questions ask even if there is still left overs in the wok. Some times, I ask them to cook fresh all of my items and they oblige without asking me why. Orange chicken, Honey sesame chicken, Shanghai Angus steak, black pepper chicken, Kung pao chicken, Mushroom chicken all are our favorites. They all have different flavor profiles, but definitely difficult to pick one over the other so I get all of them. Great customer service as well. I drove 30 minutes just to get there, but it is always worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been in Calgary since 1991 and this is by far the worse Chinese restaurant we've been to. It's your basic food court set up with precooked items under heat lamp. Wasn't expecting restaurant standards but didn't expect it could be this bad. The chow mein was under cook, over season and impossible to swallow. Rest of the items are the same. May be we went in on a bad day. We end up throwing most of them in the garbage and went to Macdonald. Definitely will not return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out of their way to provide great service. The fried rice was a tad dry, they dont seem to have a covering for it while it's on the warmer. Aside from that, meats were flavorful and hot. Much better than you would receive at a food court.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I tried this place it was mediocre at best, so I decided to give them a second try, unfortunately I was left even more disappointed. I had a craving for ragoons and had order a large order for $13, I had received ragoons with barely even a smudge of cheese, it was dinner time they had no food ready to go and anything I asked for, for my order the cook had to ask the "chef" if it was okay to make. I had so much hope for this place ?
