This time, I was worried as I booked for a Saturday we were meant to be away and didn't notice the conflict until the last minute. She re-arranged things to make our session happen. Her quality of work is outstanding, but her ability to connect with each family is what sets her apart. She has an amazing ability to make kids feel at ease (and moms too!). My little guy was on a huge sugar rush, and she got him standing still long enough to get some adorable shots! She really is a gem.

Pamela did my daughter's 1st Communion shoot and really encouraged my daughter to shine by giving her positive affirmations and kindness the entire way through. I mentioned in passing that I don't have very many pictures of myself and my daughter together because I'm always the one taking pictures. Guess what?! She immediately offered to take a few of us together. Remarkable! She could have just opted to do the bare minimum to get the shoot overwith but instead, as a Mother herself, she recognized the importance of having memories together. I can tell that this is not just a business for her, this genuinely makes her happy and is her passion. Pamela is a busy photographer for a reason (she is amazing at what she does!) but regardless, I found her to be attentive and accomodating when/where she could be. I am beyond grateful I found Pamela and will definitely recommend her whenever/wherever I can. I don't know if she will read this but, if she does ... It was my first experience with a professional photographer -- having not decided to get photos of my firstborn done (which I deeply regret). Pamela made me feel so comfortable in her lovely studio, and was extremely gentle and professional while dealing with my daughter. My DD accidentally soiled one of her cloths (still sorry about that, Pamela!), but Pamela stayed calm and reassured me that it was fine. She even convinced me to take a photo with my newborn, despite my extreme camera shyness. Overall, I think she has a great gift with children, good customer service, and an eye for timeless photos. The pictures came out amazing, and my extended family all thought my DD was a baby model from "the internet". B) The family's getting multiple prints, so they can hang the pictures on their walls.
