★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had surfing class with my friends. They have friendly staff. Our coach was Seth. He's very friendly and extremely good at teaching! We have different levels and Seth provided instructions that were suitable for each of us.
Thank you Seth for giving us a fun lesson and a great memory!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I were signed up for the 2 day beginners surf camp during the thanksgiving weekend and absolutely loved it! We ended up being the only 2 in the class and really appreciated how attentive the instructor was to helping us learn the foundation, and offering suggestions for improvement after each try. Lena was an awesome instructor - super encouraging and helping us to be more independent in the water by guiding us to identify the good waves, rather then just telling us when to hop on and paddle. Even though we are beginners, my friend and I still felt comfortable enough to stay it in the water on our own and catch more waves after the lesson ended. Being able to keep our boards throughout the 2 days was definitely a plus as we felt we could take our time each day to catch more waves and not be constricted to the lesson time. Overall an amazing experience and looking forward to come back to Tofino to keep learning more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience. Addey and Fred are awesome instructors. They are so fun and helpful. I had a very good time surfing. Wet suit made May surfing very comfortable and surf board and wet suit rental are included in the lessons. And 2.5 hours passed by so fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second lesson for me with Seth and I am slowly improving. Instructor able to suggest alternate technique modifications for success. The fellow, a geography grad, at the counter in the surf shack was very helpful and speedy to get us to our lesson with extra equipment. Definitely recommend this company for your surfing lesson! They are happy to help and committed to successful surf lessons. The smile never left my face!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome lesson with Seth. My partner and I both enjoyed our very first surfing and winter surfing session. We were provided with all the gear so that we would be comfortable and not cold in the cold water. Seth was a great instructor and was very good in providing positive feedback. My partner enjoyed it so much he might do more surfing in the future. Get ready for a workout!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a beginner to intermediate surfer. Had a wicked private lesson with Seth. Phoned ahead and the staff were helpful with some guidance on board selection from my limited quiver of boards. Seth started out the lesson with some really helpful surf theory and then we hopped in the water. Great pointers to really fine tune my riding. Culminated in my final wave that day being the best wave I have ever caught and ridden. Seth was clear and helpful and we had a blast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a family lesson with my niece and nephew (they're kids, beginners). I've been surfing for a couple years and consider myself beginner++. Our instructor Lena was AMAZING -- super fun & effervescent. Also very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave me some really great tips on how to improve my technique while simultaneously guiding the kids through catching the foam. So impressed with her ability to teach to all skill levels in one lesson. Also got set up with rental stuff to go out on my own afterwards and the staff at the shop was super top-notch and got me fully dialed in and stoked to hit the water. Can't recommend this place enough!

There was a really big storm blowing in and one shop didn’t have any issues renting to us but pacific surf co was honest and said it would be really dangerous so they wouldn’t rent to us. At the time… I thought that may have been a bit of a stretch but once we saw the storm we appreciated them saving us the money and also keeping us safe. Great people and great equipment at a very reasonable price.
