We began in 1975 as a Ribbon Distributer for Overhead Door Corporation and then expanded our offering to entry doors and windows. Since opening our doors, our goal has been to provide quality products, expert technical knowledge, professional installation and reliable service to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Today we have over 30 staff members, from Sales, Installation/Service and Support, in three locations in Alberta and Southern BC to serve our customers.

This was important because it was -30 and the door was broken and I couldn't get my car out. Both dispatch and the tech were polite and kind. Highly recommend.

An Overhead Door Company technician came and inspected the door, told us he didn't have the part with him and would need to return another day to do the work. He charged us $105 for his time. We were told that when he returned the service and parts would cost an additional $165, however, another technician came three days later to do the repair at a cost of $203 including a "trip fee" and shop parts. (Update): After posting this review, Patrick Belisle, the Customer Service Manager, called to inform us the trip and shop parts fees were being waived - leaving us with a total bill of $278 for the spring repair. The technicians' service was completely satisfactory, the price was not outrageous (apparently our spring needed to be custom fabricated because it is an unusual size), however I can't help but feel a bit jaded.

You can tell the difference in style and quality already as solid wood vs the old plastic and compressed cardboard makes such a difference!! In addition, our 25 year old half-hp opener system had some wear and tear issues to correct. Rather than doing all these repairs myself, I called in the pros, and am happy I did. Darcy was our tech that arrived and was courteous, professional, and thorough in assessing and completed the needed repairs - no upsell or replacement pressure at all, which was appreciated. The door was fixed completely in a couple of hours and operates as if it were brand new - and I certainly don't mind paying for that excellent service. I would not hesitate to call them again if I felt the needed repairs warranted it. Thanks to Darcy and the Overhead Door Company from a satisfied customer.

The manager suggested to cancel the order after being requested a discount for a day off salary lost for a day off taken. Order was canceled and money refunded. Bad experience, too bad.
