Horizon View - Broadstreet Properties Ltd. - Lethbridge

This brand new building offers so much, secure entry, spacious bedrooms, elevator, and own outdoor space. Moving in was a breeze thanks to Taylor in the rental centre here, beyond helpful with all of my questions and getting myself into a unit! Would recommend this to anyone moving or looking for a new place in Lethbridge.

They make you pay for parking stalls yet if someone else is parked there they wont do anything. They tell you to call a tow truck BUT THE TOW TRUCK MAKES YOU PAY TO HAVE THEM REMOVED. I have called the Client care line and always get the same answer...its not their problem! Yet i pay for parking so ???? Why pay for parking if broadstreet doesnt do anything to help and you have to pay out of pocket to deal with it yourself ??? 0/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND.

Building is great. Really nice and new. But we didn't have AC for a week in the building while it was 28+ degrees out for almost 4 of those days and the apartment was 31 degrees. We know of other residents who's plants all died and of another resident who's dog had to go to the vet because of getting overheated despite their best attempts to keep it cool. While it's not exactly crazy for AC in a building to break. What isn't great is that the phone support staff were dismissive and originally played off the AC not working as it just not being hot enough yet outside. Those we talked to seemed unsure or confused as to how the AC worked and when it would kick in. And then once it became apparent that there was issues with the AC they kept downplaying how long it would take to fix. Furthermore it ended up being a quick fix that only required the handyman 10 minutes to fix. Yet we were left waiting for 3 days once they said they'd figured out what the issue was and would be coming in to fix it.

Building is nice but that’s about it. Rent is expensive, first parking space costs $100 a month and if you want another it’s $50 a month. If you park extra vehicles in guest parking or in the empty parking lot without paying they will tow you! Even if the lot is like 40% unused! I parked on the street and my car was broken into, management basically said tough luck. Smells like weed most evenings, I’ve seen a guy passed out in the hall, fighting in the hall, people going through the dumpsters. When work needs to be done they are very slow, didn’t have A/C for like 8 weeks and it took 3 service calls to fix it.

Glenda is an amazing landlady, super friendly and very helpful. She runs the apartments, AC is a life safer and keeps me cold how I like it. Great place to walk my dog and the Dog Bath is awesome especially after i return back from the dog park and my dog is super dirty.

UPDATED REVIEW. We moved from 3rd fl to 4th fl at our own expense due to nothing changing with excess noise above us, constant dog feces in stairs, urine in elevators uncleanliness everywhere and smells so bad despite wearing masks. Only to be between an addict with huge behavioral problems and a few young loud party folks when we specifically reached out to ensure our neighbors were considerate and being told yes, no problems. In came new leasing agent Kiera that cleaned up the place AMAZING.Our young neighbors are doing their best so all is well, the addict left and the new fella great, quiet. Unfortunately, its near impossible to get through to the "24/7" call center ever. Today I was on hold 25mins to be cut off, just went dead, called back and waited 12 full minuets so decided to call from another cell, what do you know...answered in 4 minutes.....DO NOT bother talking yourself into this place. Its trouble after trouble. Poor sound barrier. The ONLY positive part of this entire experience is that Ben, the full time building(s) keeper is absolutely the most polite and professional human that Broadstreet could have, I hope they realize how hard he works. I could tell you a dozen more stories. We'll be moving as fast as we are able to. The only thing good about this space is that it is appealing because its new. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT talk yourself into thinking its worth it. ***MY FIRST IMPRESSION COMMENT below***Taylor set us up in renting an apartment we love. Both Anthony and Taylor have attended to each and every question or inquiry we've presented. They've navigated anything we've brought up quickly to ensure our peace of mind. After settling in we now confidently recommend this company and this building in particular to anyone. Top notch customer service. There is a 24/7 call center. The building is clean, the staff is a welcome level of professionalism.

I love living at horizon view there is alot of space ans storage for an apartment...I do wish rent was a bit cheaper but unfortunately nowhere in lethbridge is cheap for rent and out of all the apartments that include laundry in the suite these buildings are the nicest.

I have seen allot of people complaining online about renting with this company but i have been there for a while and it is great. The size of the apartments and what you get for amenities is well worth the price of the rent even if other reviews dont agree. All said and done, renting anywhere else in lethbridge with the same amenities came out to the same amount anyway at the end of the day. If you want a great place to live and know how to pay your bills on time then i highly recommend this company to rent with.
