Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (Portuguese) - Paróquia Nossa Senhora de Fátima

House of God, house of prayer for all those who profess the Catholic faith and want to pray. There are Masses in Portuguese and English. The parish priest is Brazilian.

According to Sister Lúcia's memoirs, we can divide the message of Fatima into three cycles: Angelico, Mariano and Cordimariano. The Angelic Cycle took place in three moments: when the angel presented himself as the Angel of Peace, then as the Angel of Portugal and, finally, the Angel of the Eucharist. After the apparitions of the angel, on May 13, 1917, the Marian cycle begins, when the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three children brighter than the sun: Lucia, 10 years old, model of obedience and her cousins ​​Francisco, 9 , model of worship and Jacinta, 7, model of reception. In Cova da Iria there were six apparitions of Nossa Senhora do Rosário. The sixth, being only for Sister Lúcia, as well as those that occurred in Spain, composing the Cordimariano Cycle. In August, due to the persecutions that the Little Shepherds were suffering because of the message of Fatima, the Virgin of the Rosary was no longer able to appear for them in Cova da Iria. On the 19th of August, she appears to them, then, in Valinhos. Some characteristics in all cycles: the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity, the reparation, the prayer, the prayer of the Holy Rosary, the conversion, the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Finally, through the Little Shepherds, the Virgin of Fatima calls us to live the Gospel, centered on the mystery of the Eucharist. The message of Fatima is at the service of the Good News of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Virgin Mary invites us to live grace and mercy. Fatima's message is addressed to the world, so there is the Altar of the World. Expression of the Immaculate Heart of Mary that, in the end, will triumph is the jaculatory taught by Lucia: “O my Jesus, forgive us and deliver us from the fire of Hell, take all souls to Heaven; help mainly those who need it most! ” Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
