My Mother’s passing was anticipated, just not as soon as it was, and I did not havetime to make any previous arrangements and was very confused about where and how to begin. I live in Montreal and my Mother resided Iin Ottawa, so logistically it was a bit of a challenge. David was completely available at my convenience and had no problem meeting me on Saturday morning to make the arrangements and then the following Saturday to finalize the paperwork and retrieve her remains. Some how he managed to take me through the whole process with less anxiety than I had anticipated. He was very caring, understanding and patient, and in no way like the technical sales oriented people I had dealt with at the bigger funeral homes. When we loose a loved one, we should not have the added stress and expense of people actually trying to up sell their services or falsely advise you. David is completely transparent and respects your wishes. Total honesty and carding individual. Thank you again David for your compassion.

After a recommendation to call Ottawa Cremation Service, I reached David who guided me through who to call before signing any contracts or agreements for any service providers. I can tell you one thing, he was the only service provider to do such a thing and to also offer compassion for what I was experiencing. After sorting things out, and finally calling him back a few days later, arranging my mom's cremation was easy (if appropriate to say during a time like that). I cannot recommend David and Ottawa Cremation Service Inc. enough. If you are looking for services that are simple and dignified at the end of your loved ones life, this is it. No fuss, no sale pressure - just care and respect for you and your love one.

Yes, the price is incredibly reasonable, but the service and compassion was outstanding. All permits and other documentation was taken care of and they were always responsive.
