Best Sushi restaurant in Canada

K	Kate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing experience. Usually I don’t leave bad reviews, but I have mixed feelings about this one. 1. More than 2 hours wait time! I waited for my birthday treat - sushi. I ordered my sushi at 7pm on Friday night. Okay, I understand that it’s a prime-time for takeaway restaurants and they told me to wait for 1hour 20 minutes. I came to pick up my order after 1hour50minutes and my order was not even there. People left with boxes in line before me, but my order was not ready. Or maybe they haven’t even started it yet?? I spent my b-day evening waiting for sushi ☹️ They told me to wait 20 more min. Which comes to the 2hours10min in total! 2. Poor set choice I ordered the most expensive set they had. I wanted a rich fish taste, but ended up with a lot of green stuffing, avocado, small pieces of fish and fried onions and other non-fishy stuff. Sushi were good, but for that price I expected something 3. Sugary soy sauce I keep control on sugar consumption so I can easily detect an excessive sugary taste. And that’s what happened with their soy sauce. I wanted salty tast and not a sweet one.

However, we were extremely disappointed by the quality of the sushi, and it was expensive for what we received. I ordered something that had a type of tempura in it, but it was soggy, as if it was yesterday's sushi. I don't like writing bad reviews, but felt it was necessary for individuals choosing a place based on Google reviews.

O	Olivier Gagnon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously disappointed. They had good reviews but now we wonder why. All sushis tasted the same. Almost no fish in sushis and a lot of tempura. See picture attached. Ridiculous. We had the impression of eating Rice Crispies. We would not go back. Plus ginger tasted like mold. À place to avoid unfortunately since we just moved around the corner.
A	Ankita Aggarwal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Placed a delivery order after reading all the rave reviews on google. Sorry to say the place does not live up to expectations. Ordered the 26 mcx combo, where the nori sheets were chewy and the sushi rice seemed stale. Even the pickled ginger slices were cut too thick and inconsistently. Service was great, delivery was quick and prices are low. But there are so many better sushi places in Montreal and the plateau area in general.
T	Tony Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small sushi shop that specializes in take out sushi. The price to quality ratio is pretty good considering it's Montreal. That said the rolls have a lot of cheap filler such as of panko and rice. Better to call in your order ahead of time if you want to avoid the extensive wait time for your order to be made.
