While their options are lovely, their customer service is horrible. I asked the owner if I could bring my dress to try it with the shoes. Since it’s my wedding, I wanted to make sure they fit perfectly. He said that I couldn’t do that because he didn’t like it…. That was the only reason he gave me and he did it in a rude tone. After that comment I left the store and, while they would’ve had my business, I’m never going back to it because of the rude attitude the manager exhibited.

We walked into Original just to take a look. Feeling a like a bit of an outsider in the frenzy of other teens looking for their prom dresses I was contemplating leaving, BUT the amazing store owner caught my eye and as if he knew exactly what I was searching for took me upstairs and lead me to my beautiful gothic/medieval/ renaissance like dress! To this day I absolutely love this store - whenever I go to Toronto I pay it a visit ❤️

When I was a bridesmaid a few years back, we got the best, most wearable dresses that could be used again so when I decided I wanted a second dress to party in at my wedding, Original was the first place I went to. Donna was SO fun to work with and had a bunch of great options but this sparkly white number caught me from the jump. Fun fact: when I changed into this dress after my ballgown, people told me they actually preferred this one! Original will always be my go-to for unique, fun dresses!

I fell in love with the dress instantly. I have never felt so welcomed and taken care of in any other dress store!! I would 100% recommend this store to anyone who is wanting a beautiful, one of a kind and lovely dress to wear!! Thank you Original for making my prom dress shopping experience amazing❤️

We had a great experience with Donna and Simon at the store today. We found a dress, and Both Donna and Simon helped find the perfect shoes and a clutch to complete the prom outfit. My daughter is so pleased with her dress and excited for prom! Thank you to the wonderful staff for devoting so much time to us today!

Make sure you can devote a couple hours here. The dresses are good quality and the seamstress did everything to make the dresses look perfect. Overall, it was a great experience. I certainly hope this store is around for the next generation of prom goers.
