Now 8 years later they are suing me for the balance owing for which their administrative staff neglected to recover from the government. Take precaution when admitting a love one to this care facility.
N	Nadia Mauch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got a call from Orchard Villa where my grandmother has resided in for years and was told with no sensitivity whatsoever that my grandmother passed away and that they need to reach my mother, who is the primary contact for my grandmother. The lady I spoke to seemed to be frustrated that she could not reach my mother immediately to pass on the sad news only because she needed a doctor to come in and pronounce my grandmother dead, or something to that effect. When I asked for the number of the lady I was speaking to (Beatrice, I think it was) she told me to just call the general number -- which I have before to inquire about my grandmother as well as to make sure that my mother was being the one kept in the loop first and got no response until they had actually diagnosed her as actually having COVID-19 -- and even when I asked for this lady's extension so my mom could get in contact with her directly, she was reluctant to even give it to me when she was the one asking so brusquely for my mother's information. Disgusting. I am just glad I got the call and not my mother since I could then break the news of my grandmother's passing with far more compassion than this lady showed me. If the choice is given, do not put your loved one here.

The facility itself is old and unpleasant especially during warm weather since they haven’t invested in airconditioning or proper ventilation. It’s clear that the owners solely focus on making a profit here and neglect residents and employees by cutting every possible cost. The staff themselves are also inadequate, since they lack compassion and the ability to keep their patients safe. My grandfather spent less than two months here and sadly passed away while unmonitored in a common area. After a week of holding onto his belongings, they went “missing” but were told that the staff regularly steal residents belongings. Be warned this place is an actual nightmare to put your loved one in, unless you can visit them every day to ensure they are receiving adequate care, DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONE GO HERE. The way this facility has handled the Covid-19 outbreak clearly shows the countless issues this place has and is finally bringing media attention to this horrible facility.
T	Ted Miller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father has been at Orchard Villa for the past two years, and he has received exceptionally thoughtful, sincere and attentive care from the wonderful staff. The staff has taken the time to know my father and our family. They call with updates and have regular care conferences. They have a full team of support, activity and medical professionals who have my trust and appreciation. The facility is clean and well maintained. The décor is friendly and inviting. Entrusting the care of a loved one so intensely in others is not to be taken lightly, and I can understand and empathize with how others feel nobody can meet their expectations. But I can say from touring and experiencing multiple other retirement and long term care residences that Orchard Villa is worth my five star rating.
S	Sharon Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Father had to come here due to decline.He passed 11 days later. The staff here was very caring and did a lot to make him comfortable. Staff Dr. also very understanding. LTC is not a nice place to be but the care my Dad recd was good care. No complaints.
