★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orchard on View is and has been for the last 13 years, hands down, the best sandwich shop in a 50 km radius. Not only is it easy to make a tasty, healthy choice but there is a good selection. The owner of the shop makes you feel right at home and puts a lot of effort into her food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small gem on view street is a great place to grab a bite to eat. They offer freshly made sandwiches, soups, vegetarian chili and other yummy things. The woman who served my boyfriend and I was very kind and while clearing our meal brought us a cut up Banana and fortune cookies. Everything is fresh and healthy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to come here from time to time. The lady was so nice to me, even though I was homeless and lived out of a shopping cart With my cat. Whenever I would have some money and was hungry, I felt good to support her local shop and she would always give me something extra. I miss our chats we used to have when I would come in. If I ever come back to Victoria I would love to see this lady again and than her. She was a bright light in a dark place for me, and her food made me feel like I was eating home cooked food made by mother. I will never forget her kindness she showed to me. she always had such yummy foods. Soups, beautifully made sandwiches so fresh, wonderful ingredients, fruits, snacks and drinks, and a small table to sit at with a window table. Adorably set up, hard to miss, you always want to stop by when you walk by her little shop. A homely shop run by a humble lady cooking heartwarming food... support her little shop, it will become a favourite of yours.
