The food used to be amazing! The Ginger Beef & Orange Beef was rock hard, basically just hardened breading. The sweet & Sour sauce was congealed and goopy. Chicken chow Mein was definitely day old food that was reheated. Will not be ordering again.

Delicious dinners! I've tried a few different Chinese restaurants. This one I keep coming back too

Food and portions used to be amazing and large, have ordered from there for years and today we ordered and the first time ever it was cold, deep fried prawns were doughy, SS pork barely had any sauce and was hard, as was the Ginger Beef (bullet proof and not spicy at all), Orange Peel Chicken was coated in flour or something prior to frying but oil was obviously not hot enough as it too was doughy, Szechuan Green Beans were soggy and withered.... So utterly not worth the $95, sadly this was our go to place but now on the hunt for a new place

The soup we ordered was so hot that my family members could not bear to have it. I could, but it still prevoked a missive sweat responce, and I do eat spicy food. Food was aslightly overpriced. no takeout discount

Best fried rice, sesame chicken, chop seuy and spring rolls. They sometimes give complimentary food as well. Love it so much

I ordered 3 dishes, and requested 3 condiment packets of chilly oil ... they did not give any. To be honest, without the chilly oil and soy sauce, the food is bland, and tastes old. The sweet and sour had no sweet and sour sauce... it was just dry and flavorless. The almond chicken was ok, but the Kung pow chicken was terrible. Just tiny bits of chicken in a mass of celery and some flavorless sauce. When there are so many other restaurants with better quality, better flavour, and better customer service, I won't be ordering from this restaurant ever again.

Read the one star reviews to my wife and she made the decision to go anyway. Well times must have changed or maybe a cook has been replaced but the food was hot , the S+S pork had lottsa sauce , the noodles were good and the service just fine. This will be our place to go to next time as it is close by and despite so many bad reviews we found it to be really good.

We ordered delivery in Oct 2021 and were very pleased with the experience. We ordered the Dinner for 2. Spring rolls, chicken chow mein, sweet & sour pork, and beef chop suey. The price on their menu has changed a bit, I guess 10% - from $31 to $34 - and I'd say it was worth it. I don't know what else has changed, but it sounds like new menus might be coming out soon. This was a Saturday evening, so they were very busy, but also quite frank about it: telling me right off the bat that a delivery would be about 80-90 minutes. The delivery arrived in that time (maybe even a free minutes early) and it was great. It was nice opening the containers, too. They were quite full, very good portions, they smelled great, and the food appeared crisp and properly cooked right when it arrived. The chow mein was good, pretty much what I was expecting; strong flavour that pretty much needed the sweet & sour to balance it out. The S&S pork wasn't exactly the texture I was expecting, but the difference in how it was made was a good change and it tasted just right. The chop suey was an explosion of flavour, you really knew it was there and dominated the dish when things got mixed together. Large chunks of veggies and very tender beef. The flavour might have been a bit strong for me, but I know that many people want more than I do. But the spring rolls were absolutely amazing! I have to say these are the best that I've ever tasted anywhere. The are a large size, they have great texture and beautiful flavour. I could (and probably will) compliment them for ages, and to many people. While I do want to go back to try more of the menu (I must try the chicken balls!) I know that I'll want to get the spring rolls with every order - and that's something I've never said before at any restaurant. The extras were nice. There were ample amounts of plum and soy sauce, and 2 fortune cookies. I don't remember seeing chop sticks, but I didn't ask for any, so that didn't bother me All in all, great service and a delicious meal. I'll be ordering again from Orange Door.
