About Optika Eclectic Eyeware
The L.O. stands for licensed optician and I’m very proud of that designation. I started at Optika as a student dispensing optician in 2000, and was lucky enough to have the original owner of Optika, Bev Kernan, train me. Eyewear is a passion of mine and as many of you already know, you very seldom see me in the same pair of glasses twice. I strive to ensure that everyone who comes to Optika for eyewear not only gets the best service I can provide, but also leaves with the eyewear that they absolutely love. My husband and I have owned the shop since 2007 and are so very pleased that we have the best customers who gladly – and very proudly – tell others where their eyewear came from. I’d like to say thank you to all of you who put your trust in me and continue to support Optika, business has grown exponentially because of all of you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has got to be the best place in Saskatoon to get new glasses! I've always had a hard time finding adult frames that fit right and don't look huge on my narrow face. I usually dread having to find new glasses, I find shopping for frames stressful and awkward, and I'm never quite sure if I've made the right decision. Not anymore. Deb put me totally at ease, and the shop has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere too. She has a huge selection of different (and interesting!) frames, awesome colors, lots of good brands she trusts, and she knows her stock inside and out. She made great recommendations based on my tastes and what actually looks good for my face shape. She found me the perfect pair (that I probably would never have picked out myself) that I actually love and am excited to wear. I never saw glasses as an accessory that could make me feel pretty or ever be enjoyable to wear, they were always more of a basic necessity to me. I've totally changed my mind, thanks to her. Best shopping experience I've had in a long time, and highly recommended!

Optika, is the only place I shop for glasses and I don't even live in the province. Deb is always worth the drive and I am always happy with the glasses. She helped me deal with a unique vision issue. I would recommend Optika to everyone. Just don't pet Fox.
