I contacted The Human Rights Legal Support Centre. They pretend like they're going to help you and in the end they do nothing.

A few years ago I contacted the HRC in regards to being mistreated at work because of my sex. I was turned down from a promotion multiple times becasue I was a man and the district manager told me, to my face that she wanted to hire a female for the position. And that after 7yrs of work I "...didn't have the experience." over a new hire who had never worked for the company. So at first I went through the proper chains, went to our HR department. They said "Just don't take it so seriously." Then that's when I phoned the HRC. When I told her my story she said, and I quote, "Well you can bring you case up but I'll let you know, you probably will not be taken seriously. This (The HRC) is more of a place for women who have been mistreated in the work place because of their sex." I don't think they know how saying that can make someone feel. When the government won't even help you because you are a guy. A few years later I had to quite the job because I ended up developing server anxiety and depression because of all that had happened to me. Thanks for the "help" HRC. Seems like you are just another waste of tax payers dollars.

I am proud to live in the Province of Ontario, part of this great country, where human rights are vigorously protected and where we make every effort to be inclusive, correcting our inevitable past mistakes, and protecting those whose rights have been abrogated by a system built on "winners and losers" capitalism and its entrenched power structures. These structures cannot survive without the foundations of colonialism and its history of racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia and fear of "the other". I laugh heartily when I see a man complaining of "discrimination" in these comments, and I shake my head at the abuse heaped on this agency in these so-called fake "reviews" by those who cannot abide the idea that equality means giving up their privilege. If they were real comments, I'd reply: Go live in a country where your rights are withheld, where you can't speak your mind, where you are silenced and marginalized, then tell us what you think. Give up your privilege - and I say this as a white, gay male of over sixty years of age - or your world will soon be burning, and I'll be fighting to be first in line to light the match. David Roddis

It's a scam!!! First thing out of the chair person ( aka judge) was " Full disclosure, I did not read any of the documents". After only my testimony she had her mind made up.. no name calling no case. You would think someone in that position would know discrimination is not limited to name calling. I paid over $30,000.00 of lawyer fee and this "judge" couldn't be bothered to read the documents that OHRC had me on tight deadlines to produce. Minorities are at the mercy of the majority, if they allow us to have rights that fine but thinking we have enforceable rights is a illusion.

No need for a call center if the information is limited to what you can find on Google engine. Unprofessional too. This quality is why thousands of people continue with their rights infringed because lack of guidance or advice on where to seek help

I was refused entry into a bookstore despite me declaring my medical exemption status to not wear a mask. I complained to a Human rights rep, who had the gull to tell me that since the store was offering me curbside pick up, they were not refusing service..they were refusing to give me an accommodation. and that the curbside pick up was the accommodation. and that if a store refuses to serve you outside then you call us back. called back months later after a popeyes chicken refused to serve me outside. OHRC rep told me that I failed to provide proof that I have an exemption so they did not have to serve me period. Unlike Public Health and By-Law which claim proof is not required. OHRC believes that you have to show proof of a medical condition, otherwise anybody could just say they are exempt, but will allow biological men to go into women's spaces like locker rooms.. if they just declare they identify as females. OHRC is so woke they can give a bottle of Ambien a sleepless night.
