As I was away at the time I had the work done I didn't realize he did not insulate until winter arrivwed (several months later). The room was at least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house and the remote control unit in the fireplace froze from the cold and was inoperable. That contractor refused to claim any responsibility so I finally decided to bite the bullet and simply pay for another complete rebuild. Ontario Hearth was amazing. They were all so professional. from the showroom visit, to the design and advance, to the old fireplace demolition to the new construction. A quality, professional job all the way around, and extremely fair and friendly staff as well. Would highly recommend this team!
