Onoway Medical Clinic

This is by far the WORST medical clinic I've ever been to. The receptionist I didn't find as rude as the others did!! The Doctors that work full time are Ridiculous! Dr Winterburn is a fabulous doctor, but rarely at the clinic! People deserves to be addressed with respect no matter the situation, vise versa. I'm sure because of the poor rating of this office people have a rude attitude towards the receptionist, and because of that, she's tired of dealing with people, which in turn gives her a bad attitude and it's just turned into a negative place to be!! If you have the means, seek medical attention in Spruce Grove or stony plain!

The staff at this clinic are marvelous and the doctors are great too. Dr Kozakiewicz is very knowledgeable especially about managing conditions like Type 2 diabetes and is a great family doctor. This clinic is a life changer.

This has been a great clinic in our small neck of the woods. Andrea and Connie are very pleasant and get myself and my family in in decent time. The new doctor they have, Dr. Salami, is absolutely amazing! I’m really hoping he isn’t transient and leaves us. He’s the best doctor to happen to the clinic!

Wonderful staff and clinic. Dr. Burdek is amazing and exactly the kind of doctor every woman should have. She listens intently and is very thorough.

Andrea at the front desk is wonderful, very friendly and polite. Dr.Burdek is fantastic, she listens and makes you feel comfortable. She is thorough and doesn't make the appointment feel rushed.

The experience I had with Dr.Salami was outrageous. I found him to be condescending and his bed side manner horrible. My daughter had blood work over a month ago and this office neglected to call me with the findings. It was a good thing I called in to make appointments or I would never have been aware. Then to make matters worse upon a phone call appointment I was belittled and the doctor was extremely resistant to answer any of my questions or concerns in regards to my 4 years old daughter. The conversation was ended prior to me being given all of the information. Then upon speaking to Andrea the office manager, she was extremely resistant to hear my concerns, she accused me of being at fault, she also refused to give me any of my daughters medical information and overall refused to advocate for me as a patient. In total I was treated with extreme bias and I do not feel like this office made mine and especially my daughters medical care a priority. We will most definitely will not be going back. RECENT UPDATE/Feb.28.2021 Since leaving this office and upon getting a new doctor, we have learnt that the information that Dr.Salami failed to deliver in regards to my daughter, was very minor, however, he very simply could have given us the information as she was his patient at the time. And in regards to my own care, after an ultrasound, Dr.Salami had diagnosed me with a Lipoma, claiming it was 4cm by 4cm, however after consulting with a new doctor and having an MRI, it was discovered that there is nothing there. To make matters worse, Dr.Salami had refused to send me for an MRI, but did refer me to a surgeon. I am so glad I got a second opinion. I have also been diagnosed with diabetes as well as fibrosis. Both of which Dr.Salami would have discovered had he sent me for the proper blood work when I asked him to. It is always worth having a second opinion people. Doctors are and can be biased. As well, since obtaining a new doctor, I received a call from Andrea, office manager of Onoway clinic, she wanted my new doctors information, I did not feel it was necessary as my new doctor can access my medical history online. But when I refused to give her the information, she told me that I was such a Bi**h and then proceeded to hang up on me. Clearly this woman is not professional. I can not stress enough what a nightmare this clinic was. I am simply a single mom who was in need of medical care and instead was treated horribly. Good luck to everyone out there searching for quality medical care.

Brutal. Go somewhere else if you can. Reception is terrible and they seem to have lost their manners and customer service skills. I was so excited to have a Dr. close to home, but with the terrible service and lack of appointment availability...forget it.

The staff is very wonderful and caring !! Doctor Burdek is a new doctor I think she is amazing. She listens to everything and makes you feel very comfortable. I think they are worth the drive as I do not live in Onoway. I appreciate all of them. ?
