D	Doar Un Nume on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist is not professional at all. She is not capable to take the right phone number from the clients and keeps annoying other people. I was called more than 5 times and I told her that is not the person whom she is looking for and she kept calling me. It is annoying and for sure it shows a big lack of professionalism. Change your receptionist or assistant (whoever is making the calls). Ottawa head quarters

She was very disrepectful... told me shes not my dr and could only address 1 issue... she also had other things going on regarding personal things and wasnt paying attention to me... rushed the appt and was just a wait of time....find a different doctor!!!!

This doctor was advised to me as Family Doctor by Health Connect, but I was very disappointed after first visit. I came to her with one problem (almost 1 year I have running nose and a lots of sneezing), but she didn’t take care of it, didn’t sent me to make some lab tests to figured out what wrong with it, just prescribe medicine which I can buy without prescription. When I asked: ”What’s wrong with me?” I heard answer that it is in the air. Instead of take care of problem which bothered me a lot, she became concerned about another issue which I didn’t ask to take care of. I don’t like the way how she spoke with me. Moreover at the end of my last visit it wasn’t very pleasant to hear that “I am a problematic patient.” I’m not recommend to have this kind of doctor as Family Doctor.

No doctor should ask a patient's mother, "what do you think it is?. She was insensitive, rude and is completely unfit to hold the designation of being a doctor. How this woman continues to practice is beyond me. AVOID HER!!!!!
M	May F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Divakar is a highly unprofessional woman. She is rude, abrasive and unhelpful. I don’t think I’ve ever been more insulted by a doctor in my life. She insinuates my medical problems are in my head and refuses to help. Then tells me I am a “horrible patient” for finding her unhelpful. She ripped up my blood work test in front of me as well and refused to help me after that. Please avoid her at all costs unless you want to be mistreated.
M	Metric Pandora on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love Doctor Patel. She takes the time to get to know you and actually tries to figure out the problems you present to her. Usually you need to wait a bit after your appointment time, but that’s only because she doesn’t rush you for why youre there. I appreciate that she sees us as people and not numbers, and for that reason I am more than happy to wait for my turn. That being said, the other staff you need to interact with just to get to see her need some work. Between being extremely rude on the phone, to referring to patients as a descriptor despite knowing their name. ie: one of the nurses referred to me as “the big girl” to doctor patel despite being the one nurse I see every time I go to that office and I KNOW she knows my name by now. Love the doctor, but I wish she would move to a new office with others who are as professional as she is.
C	Claudia Aldecoa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been seeing Dr. Patel for at least 6 years. She is always professional and listens to all of my concerns. I always appreciate seeing her because she always makes me feel like we're working together to solve a problem. The intake nurses are helpful as well and always present themselves in a professional manner. You will usually be placed on hold when you call so be prepared for that. Be prepared with the dates and times you're available when booking an appointment and you shouldn't have any issues.

You also don't have to wait for a long time to get an appointment. There have been times when I was sick and called and she took me in the same day. Very kind and helpful.
