love the girls, love the service, love the place. best nails in town

Used to be my favorite place to make the nails done at. I tried to make an appointment but wasn’t very sure about the style I’m going with and was about to decide while I was on the phone but got interrupted by the nail designer who was on the phone with me saying that I have to go elsewhere if I “don’t even know what you want”, that I’ll be waisting her time and she has a lot of other clients who know exactly what they are interested in. Very upsetting experience, didn’t expect such reaction, and a manner of talking to the clients.

update on January 2021: added 4 photos - TAKE A LOOK YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED edit on August 2019: added two pics and they last over a month. it’s incredible ! nails are ALWAYS perfect when i get it done with danika. she never fails to amaze me. it’s fast, clean and easy. the ambiance is also a plus (you can bring your pet). danika’s quick and she’s an artist at what she does. as a result, my nails never break or crack. it can even last up to a month with little imperfections! the prices are pretty affordable for a nail salon in mont royal. i totally recommend. plus, she offers a lot of colours/stickers/blings!! ps: you can always walk-in but i suggest you call a day before. *** also cash only!! **** ig account: onglessailormoon

Was looking for a nail salon in the plateau and heard good things about this one! It did not disappoint. The shellac lasts 4 weeks and still looks great! The owner is always in a good mood and tries to make you smile :)

I'm a bit conflicted here because I do love the staff and theme of the store and I've been here before a few times. (Big Sailor Moon fan here, which is what attracted me to the shop in the first place.) The service is always great, and the folks who work there are super friendly and professional. My only gripe is that compared to the first time I went there, this time, the place was noticeably dirty. The covid-required plexi was covered in nail dust and polish, as were the tables, floors and UV lamps. (I didn't even want to put my hand flat down in the lamp, the bottom was covered in caked polish. I know it happens, but like... a swipe of acetone would do wonders.) The trimming instrument the technician used on me was also super rusty (hello health concern!) and the chrome polish powder was kept in a dirty baggie that was crusted in powder, and the wand used to apply it was absolutely filthy. Most distressingly, the tech took a bathroom break (you can hear it because of the high ceilings and bad soundproofing) and didn't wash their hands (heard the flush, didn't hear water in a sink). I was bit shocked at the whole experience because even though I'm not a clean freak as a person, it was *noticeably* unsanitary, like they hadn't wiped the tables in a while. That said, I genuinely liked my manicure a lot and as I said, the staff here is really sweet and the prices are fair. Still, I felt I needed to come and mention this in hopes that the cleanliness aspect gets better because this was honestly a bit gross. I hope it improves because I like supporting local businesses!

I love getting my acrylics here. They are so profesional! And my nails NEVER break and removing them is so easy and my natural nail never gets damaged. They are really really good and quick. My appointments for a new set of acrylics never take more than an hour also they can mimic any inspiration picture I bring and I have NEVERRRRR had a broken nail or chipped nail polish. Worth mentioning that the place is really clean and cozy.

I’m super picky when it comes to my nails, (all the small details and shape) and I always leave this place super satisfied. She’s also super efficient, one hour in and out ?

First time getting a mani at this salon and I’m very satisfied! The nail tech was nice and gentle while working on my hands and the final results is exactly what I wanted.
