I decided to give her a try as the stylist I went to is in the downtown core and I'm in the west end and wanted to find something a little closer. My colleague is Christine's sister whose hair always looks fantastic, both colour and cut (of course, because Christine does it!). I am super picky and also anxious ( I've had my share of hair fiascos at other salons over the years), but she knows what she's doing and does it perfectly. She gave me a beautiful cut and highlights...every strand falling perfectly into place. The real test is when you first wash and style it yourself- and when I did, it looked every bit as good as when I stepped out of the salon (that's when you know you have a great cut). I have had a tonne of compliments and cant sing her enough praises. On top of that, organic products! Love, love LOVE!!

Vaccines are extremely important right now, and many want to share their status, in hopes to encourage others to get their shots. It is also used to open a conversation about the person who is working RIGHT NEXT TO YOU....to see if they have their shot. If you can't respect something as basic as freedom of speech, you deserve 0 stars, not even 1.

I have had organic colour and cuts ranging from longhair to pixie and every time it has been beautiful and suited my personality and style. I also had my hair done for my wedding here and it made the day! I always have my hair done by Stef and would recommend her to anyone who wants a great cut that suits them perfectly. The atmosphere is friendly, and feels upscale but without being pretentious. I like the layout - it is a calming and spacious and always very tidy. Highly recommend.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about the price, but taking into account the type and quality of products they use, and having had my hair done at many other high end salons, I do not see the prices as anything unexpected or ridiculous. Be sure to ask for Ida for all of your colouring needs! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and above all, genuinely cares about the client’s satisfaction. Will 100% go back here for all my hair needs.
M	Mathilda Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The same people who are complaining about this business making the decision not to allow the discussion of PERSONAL medical decisions re: a newly formulated vaccine to take place in their PRIVATELY OWNED salon, are the same ones who don’t even bat an eye at the companies that are mandating that all customers entering their store must be fully vaccinated because in their eyes those companies are ‘within their rights’ and tell others ‘if you don’t like it, don’t go there’. ? I for one, am grateful this company is doing something different for a change. Many of us are sick and tired of constant talks about the vaccines and the pandemic and want to get our hair done in a relaxing place with no Karens around. The medical decisions of others are none of anyone’s business. So long as you’re vaccinated, you’re protected, right? So you truly shouldn’t care who has their shots and who doesn’t. Mind your business and leave this business alone. In your famous own words—if you don’t like it, don’t go here. ?

Christina and Jessica are excellent stylists. My hair always looks and feels fabulous. The colour products used on my hair never strip or dry out my hair. The salon is always clean, and fresh. It lacks the awful chemical smell that most salons have. It is definitely worth the price.
A	A A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this salon and have been going there for years that I immediately booked an appointment on July 10, 2021 when it reopened. Christine is an excellent hairstylist and I was excited to get a haircut after more than a year. I was so happy to see her, Jessica and Jenny. However on July 17, 2021, the salon sent an email to its clientele which was a disappointment. It was more like censorship. The email is as follows - "ONE Salon is so very grateful and excited to have our wonderful clientele. It has been a busy two weeks and we can't wait to see you all! We would kindly like to mention that all conversations regarding VACCINATIONS will be not be permitted within the realm of One Salon. We trust and respect your decision to do what is best for your health, but also, respect the privacy of all patrons and staff alike. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation." I emailed the salon to let them know that this is an infringement on the freedom of expression which is in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom . There are only maybe 2-3 clients at a time for safety reasons. It is common to talk about different topics with your own stylist. To be sending out this email is so disrespectful. Maybe they should instead post a sign to keep quiet while in the salon or talking is not allowed while in the salon if they impose this kind of restriction. This salon even though a good one is not worth the time.
